  • The Beatles were really good, but don't compare to Elvis. No one comes close to the King.

  • @MarkRogersTV Agreed Beatles are good and all but Elvis is way way better ...

    Elvis the king of rock

  • Paul John or George sing as well as well as elvis

  • Anyone notice the poster of Ayrton Senna in the background? Was one of the Beatles a fan of Formula 1?

  • @TPBX225 Yes, George was a massive F1 fan - I'd assume that this was filmed somewhere in Friar Park.

  • @TPBX225 Yep, George was a Huge racing fan.

  • "he was like ringo...his beard of ...varnished." hahaha

  • Just one guy missing..........from perfection

  • "And bugger all that other crap" lol. I'll adopt that as my catchphrase in memory of the great man.

  • when was this? why not reunion, altough wouldn`t make sense at all without john.

  • @elvisluvu ; This is from the Beatles Anthology, done in the mid 90s. Unfortunately John had gone to The Great Beyond by then. I've always thought, even if they never played another note together, it would have been great if the 4 of them could have just sat down together, and been buddies again.

  • WOW....seeing this for the first time....great stuff

  • Picture of Senna in his racing car on the wall.

  • Who's house are they in? That picture of Ayrton Senna's Marlboro car blew me away. He is ALSO one of my heroes.

  • @zoltar5282 George was a car racing fan so maybe at George's place.

  • @kingdingle yea it is Friar Park I think

  • George Harrison wasn't only a great music artist but also a very good human being and great devotee of the Lord..They still play his song " My sweet Lord " in the Hare Krishna temples all over the world on his birthday..He was refused initiation by his spiritual master Srila Prabhupada (founder of the Hare Krishna movement) saying that there wasnt any need for initiation for him as he was already a loved son of the Lord...saying his name was Harrison ( Hari being another name for Krishna).

  • @dine4uonly good info....I allways liked George

  • Three legends chatting away about meeting "THE KING"... As if it happens every day of the week.... Fantastic clip... So down to earth .. how dare they be so down to earth.. lol.

  • what george was saying is that elvis band was too big u dont need all that to be rock and roll. we wanted the jeans elvis the rockabilly elvis not the big production. but it seems george had that big band at bangkadesh. anyway its interesting seeing legends sitting down chewing the fat.

  • Actually, I saw elvis live in 1970 and again in '73 and he kicked ass. I have no idea what he's talking about with "it was sad." weird. In fact, as a live awe inducing act the only thing that I ever saw get close to elvis was that paul mccartney guy sitting there. and with him it was his musical genius but with elvis it was his voice which was far better in person that i'd dreamed from hearing his records. also, elvis grew up poor so he never wore jeans-reminded him of the bad times.

  • @zyxquark I think he's talking about 1977 you know when elvis wore that massive jumpsuit with the gold circle on it, kinda with abit cut out to show abit of his chest. It was sad near the end, even now watching it and you see how he use to be in the 1950s.

  • "...'ello Elvis, how are ya...?"

  • "you felt him?" I laughed

  • absolute legends

  • George doesn't even look like himself RIP Legend

  • Ayrton Senna at 00:14

  • @zardinho

    yes legend also

  • Elvis as Vishnu!

  • Senna !!

  • How much better would this clip be if John Lennon had not died.

  • @thegools I know, hard to imagine

  • These little clips are great-off of the Beatles Anthology around 1994-95, I think. The three seem very at ease with each other. Sadly, George would be gone just several years later...

  • I bet they're thinking we made some really good records that people still remember today and probably will for a long time in future.

  • I bet they're thinking, we ecame this rich just from banging out a few tunes and girls pubescent raging hormones.

  • I wonder if they regret selling their souls now that their all about to die,

  • Im sorry but the Beatles never made music as great as Elvis Presley who made so many great songs. The King !

  • @TheMagneto187 Elvis didn'r write his own music ! And the Beatles are and have always been way more popular than Elvis !

  • @Ellster90 No way is the Beatles more popular than Elvis Presley not even in England hahaha your dreaming, and the real Paul McMartney died in 1966 ' the band werent the same ever since they all split up.

The person who actually wrote all the Beatles songs was Theodor Adorno, a music professor from Frankfurt University. And none of the songs were original, Adorno, a genius on the subject of theoretical music cleverly adapted well-known classical partitures, to create the Beatles songs.

  • @TheMagneto187 No offence but Elvis hasn't sold as many records in the UK as the Beatles.

And as for this Adorno bloke, would you mind citing source material that proves he wrote those songs? Nothing I can find proves he did.

  • @Ellster90 So what if he didn't write his own music? As a result he managed to record over 800 songs. This is just nitpicking, have you written anything or done anything to gain any kind of popularity or credibility? Stop attempting to discredit others, let alone Elvis Presley. Fuckwit.

  • @TheMagneto187 elvis was a talentless ra ra girl who was too shit to write his own songs. elvis died when he went into the army. he was dead always and a fat sweaty cunt.

  • @peterpeterxxo I guess that talentless ra ra girl managed to inspire millions of people including every major rock act in the 1960's and 1970's and his influence completely pervaded popular culture.

Having a rant because you're insecure about your tiny dick?

For the record, orchestra's don't write their own music either, so does that mean their talentless? Do some research you cum slut. Elvis started in an era, where most artists were recording artists, and songwriters were mutually exclusive

  • @MrECC83 dont have a rant because youre insecure about your tiny dick abd do some research you cum slut and relise presley was a talentless mong if you were a real presley fan youd accept this and stop bummimg his fat corpse.

  • @peterpeterxxo Do I even have to argue with you? You can't even spell properly, which means you probably have a pretty low intelligence. Furthermore you just copied my insult to you, can't come up with something of your own? Look, sit in a corner for a while, and re-think your existence, I'm sure you'll come to the same conclusion as the rest of us here, just end it. Fuck off.

  • @MrECC83 i cant be bothered with reeking deadbeats like you, your the cunt that stands in the street shouting at traffic. so yes please you step into the traffic and just end it. fuck off.

  • @peterpeterxxo If I ever feel inclined to stand in the street and shout I'll definitely try your suggestion. I'm the dead-beat huh? I'm not the one with xx in my name, what are you are a 13-year-old girl? Nah, you're a grown man that takes it up his arse.

  • @peterpeterxxo oh yeah is that why hes sold more records than the beatles and anyway talk about who was dead, if your a true beatles fan you should know that the real paul mc'cartney died in 1966 and the beatles were never the same ever since. they all split up because of the fake paul mc'cartney !

  • @TheMagneto187 The Beatles and Elvis are tied for 1rst place in record sales. Its too close to call. You can look that up ! However, the Beatles released music over a span of nine years and Elvis' recording career was a 23yr period. PS- Paul McCartney is alive and well.

  • @TheMagneto187 Again, you have to cite sources. I don't see anything to suggest Paul is dead outside of a few psuedo conspiracy sites that have probably planted a virus on my computer.

  • @theredraven theres sources in the music if you listen to all the lyrics theres subliminal messages, and they kept it a secrete why the hell would they want to show you proof like many other cospiracy's.Theres many other messages that show hes dead. like the real paul is left handed and the this fake paul is right handed e.t.c

  • @TheMagneto187 Paul has always played his guitar left handed.

Some people who are right handed do play leftie style (left hand strumming, right hand fretting).

Subliminal messages in the songs neither prove or disprove Adorno writing. For all you know, Ringo wrote all the songs and gave them to the others.

  • @TheMagneto187 Crapola! You're deluding yourself. It's all in your mind, then. PS: George says "Bugger off!"

  • i stand in for john as im a scouser

  • Ringo is either stoned, or he needs to get stoned to remember seeing Elvis that time in Las Vegas that he was about to talk about except he gets distracted in trying to remember when he went:: "...after the...uhm...the...uhm...", (1:05), then he never finishes the story of Elvis, lol! He thought he'd seen Elvis many times, but it may have been just that once, but he remembered it many times, lol!!!

  • its only George talking about him, if you notice Paul & Ringo don't have much to say on the subject..!! that's the fucking reason why he's dominating the conversation ... Paul and Ringo still feel bit let down about Elvis and i don't blame them either.

as for Elvis fucking singing well just sounds like a glorified workingmen s club singer nothing special lets get real!! had all is songs written for him as well..!! BEATLES HAD ALL ROUND TALENT...!!!

  • @sac3691 Like a glorified workingman's club singer????? Come on man! You don't get labeled the King of R&R for the hell of it. You don't like Elvis, I get it, but stop trying to diminish his accomplishments because of your hatred. Be bigger than that.

  • "But, he was great when he was great." True about many of us.

  • That´s a picture of Airton Senna in a McLaren.

  • you felt him.. haha.

  • George seems pretty smart in this, i.e., the opposite of Ringo.

  • hahah, "his beard was varnished"

  • i love how george olny listens to them and laugh, i hope he is in a better place . btw you cant compare a band to a singer, elvis presley was the best solo singer, the beatles were the best band of singers, i love both of them i always cry when i see all of them together( and i mean the beatles)

  • @CostasSocratous Michael Jackson is by far the best solo artist of all time. Every other solo artist is fighting for second place.

  • @homosauce444

No way. Michael was great, but Elvis was the best.

  • @CostasSocratous :Yeah, but Elvis never reached the fame of the Beatles.

  • @pmoyer50 Elivis also felt threatened by them

  • @matco24 : I read that he offered his services as a narc to help bust the Beatles for drugs. If that ain't the pot calling the kettle black, what is? The Beatles liked the early material of Elvis. By the time they met him they weren't crazy over his current choice of songs. Elvis became irrelevant. I love the Beatles. I never bought one Elvis record - not one and I'm proud of that.

  • @pmoyer50 dude, I totally understand....to me the Bealtes are and will ALLWAYS be timeless!!!!

  • Certainly not the quiet one!

  • george was awesome we miss him !!!!!

  • It's hilarious that George is totally dominating the conversation.

  • "...and bugger all that other crap." I'm such an Anglophile because of these dudes right here.

  • @b3astiemaninLA I learned a lot of English phrases because of these guys. Long before all my friends thought they'd discovered something new with Austin Powers, lol.

  • Elvis idol of idols.

  • It says a lot about elvis, that even the beatles talk about him as a kind of larger than life individual, and the fact that they were fans of his, when some beatles fans like to disrespect him. I love elvis and i love the beatles and i never saw them as rivals. No one entertainer has all the fans.

  • These guys are trying to critique Elvis through the eyes of dope heads?? LOL

Big E....The Man, The Myth, The Legend....and the greatest singer/entertainer in the history of the world.

  • Still miss you George! Love you.

  • "You felt him?"

    "Yeah"

"No wonder he didn't stand up"

I can't help but laugh with them.

  • This, as far as I'm aware, is the last pic of Paul, George & Ringo together:

    img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/08_02/pboydMS1808_468x248.jpg

  • @ShaggyAlonso13 unfortunately the link is not working as it is an image that i would like to see

  • The Beatles themselves were like other men, but the music and lyrics channeled through them contained magic and messages from beyond the mind. If you love The Beatles and their music, go to TruthContest(dot)com, open "The Present," and read through the section about The Beatles.

  • thanks you tube

  • When did George and Ringo make friends again with Paul? some time in the 90's?

  • @kazraz72 Ringo visited Paul in the 70th. They worked together troughout the 80th. Paul was on Ringo's wedding in 1981. Ringo plays in Paul's Broad Street movie.

  • @yesiamize Ok. Thanks for that.

  • @kazraz72 Ringo never really fell out with Paul. They were on each others solo albums and the Broadstreet movie. Paul and George sort of reestablished things in the 80s and had highs and lows throughout. From what I've read the reunion sessions were tense, but when they were out socially "as long as we don't talk about Apple and the business" as George once said, they were very friendly. Cool pic of the 3 of them at one of Patty Boyd's parties from the late 90s.

  • @AppleCorp3 Thanks very much for that.- I saw an interview with Ringo and George from '88 and there still seemed a little bit of ill-feeling from George to Paul, so that ties in with what you say. I will check out that pic you mention!

  • This is just like watching a home movie. The Beatles were/are a part of our lives. The way they are just sitting, laughing, THANKS!

  • Wise, kind advice that George would have given Elvis....Good on ya, George.

  • I love you, George Harrison! You live in my heart!

  • Man, you can tell that they are big Elvis fans.

  • there would've been no beatles if it weren't for EP

  • I MET ELVIS WHEN HE WAS PLAYING BASS GUITAR FOR CARL PERKINS. THEY HAD A DISPUTE OVER WHO WROTE BLUE LEATHER COWBOY BOOTS - THE BAND BROKE UP. SAD TOO, ELVIS MIGHT HAVE BECOME FAMOUS.

  • The Beatles have said before that Elvis was a great influence on them early on . I doubt they were lying about it.

  • ringo looks funny :P lol

  • George is so funny hahaaa

  • and He looked Like Ringo

  • Wondering who has the photos that are on the camera....would love to see them!

  • subtitulos en espñolllllll pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @arielrodriguezjose Está en Anthology Extras Disco 9 Puedes encontrarlo subtitulado. Está muy entretenido el relato de George

  • touching story about someone will shall all miss, told by someone we shall also all miss.

  • And Elvis continues to fascinate!

  • Is that an ayrton senna's frame at the back?

  • Even though geroge was pretty old there he still was lovely:3

  • If John was at the Table the house would blow up.. True Gentlemen. I couldn't see 4 beatles in there 50's sitting at a table drinking Tea, talking about Elvis.

  • @MrHideyoursheep John tlaked about Elvis allthe time too.

  • George seemed like a really fun guy to be around, shame we can't all know chaps like him.

  • "snotty, grubby little kid..." I always laugh at that line!! Hee hee.

  • Fucking George. What a beautiful guy.

  • wish cris farley had interviewed them, "Remember when u guys were in the Beatles"?

Nosso "Ayrton Senna" veleu o momento!!!

  • these videos are heart warming soo much love

  • @audesemusic That's his opinion. He liked Elvis just by himself, without big choruses behind him. Just as you, when talking about your favorite artist, might say, "I saw them, they were great, but I wish they did such-and-such..." or "I think he's at his best when he's just acoustic".

  • wasnt there any pics of the night the beatles met elvis ?

  • Its sad not to hear and see John on this record.

  • See they hated does Girls Singers but liked him, and his Band. Why don't they go back to She Loves you yea yea and quit all that shit My sweet lord shit. :) sorry God but you know what i mean we swim in a sea of fools and we have to live and be surrounded by what you hear here and where are these guys now. :) I would love to interview these guys :) caring heat.

  • I think it's great how they geek out about meeting Elvis like little kids or like we would do meeting them. Or like Jerry Lee Lewis. When John met him, he got down on the floor and kissed his feet and talked about what a huge inspiration he was and Jerry said, "Aw hell, ain't no need to do all that son."

  • And they have Ayrton Senna on the wall... ÜBER COOL.

  • elvis presley = greatest singer of all time

the beatles = greatest band of all time

  • if george met elvis in madison square gdns.it would have been in 1972,and elvis never had a beard when he performed.so ...........

  • @elvisuk He was probably referring to his sideburns, which were pretty epic at that point.

  • I love how non-chalant George is when he asks "did you ever meet Elvis again?"

  • George, he didn't "just" go back and sing "That's All Right Mama" in the '70s for the same reason you didn't "just" go back and sing "Shake It Up Baby" in the '80s.

  • People are going to be listening the Beatles a thousand years from now! YAY!

  • Ha ha ha! George hasn't finished his story and Ringo is interrumpting him, when George thinks "I'll shut up and he will tell his story" Ringo shuts up! George: "Oh, you saw him in Vegas!?"... awkward pause... Paul to the rescue!!! Now George can continue.

And at the end Ringo asks "Did you meet him again?"... Haven't you been listening!!!?

Oh! How I love this three (relatively) old men!

  • @llamawalrus I'm half convinced Ring is stoned here

  • @myrtlebox Hmm, unconvince yourself ;-D because Ringo was clean by this time.

  • Asking Elvis Presley to wear jeans and sing "That´s all right" with a small band, or "Baby let´s play house", in 1972, is like Presley asking Harrison, in that same year to wear a Beatles colarless suits, cut his hair on a moptop and sing "·Don´t bother me" at his concert for Bangladesh. And Presley never sang "My way" when Harrsion saw him at the Garden.

  • George was so great. And I don't know how you can defend Elvis at that time period against a very mild criticism from George. You Elvis fans know as well as I do how whacked out on drugs he was at that point. He was an absolute mess. If George Harrison turned into a mess at some point in his life, I'd be the first to acknowledge it, even though he's one of my heroes.

  • ringo had is cam for that special momment, maybe i felt its could be the last meet betheen those 3 unforgetables man.special momments for history .george was so humble guy and ringo is a lovely guy,and i have nothing new to say about the icon paul,

thank you guy's for all what you did for me,if i love music today you are the main reason, thanks from the bottom of my heart, especially george my fav beatles, rip george and john.

    (sorry for my english)

  • ringo had is camera with im,maybe i felt it's could be the last meet between thoses 3 incredibles man.(unforgetable momment in history)

    (sorry for my english)

  • I heard that George met him many more times after what he claims, and John and Yoko saw him many times in concert at madison square.

  • When was this?

  • @jake9000000000000000

It was recorded in June 1994, but released on DVD in 2003.

  • John and George saw Elvis at Madison Square Garden in 1972.As did Bob Dylan and Art Garfunkle.

  • elvis does not look like he would have a voice that he does

  • Paul & George are my ying and yang in this life..

  • Elvis shmelvis.

  • I wish I could meet mister harrison

  • @ornalea im afraid that is impossible.

  • Elvis cut his first record at sun studios in 1954, the beatles didn't come along until the early 60's so they were a considerable time after THE KING

  • oh George was absolutely adorable.

  • coolest guys ever

  • The Beatles talk about Elvis allthe time.

  • LOL "He had all those squawking girl singers" - George putting down the Sweet Inspirations, the all black backup singers for Elvis during live concerts.

  • Elivs may have been first, but I doubt a whole Decade. I believe they both started in the 60's. Even if Elvis started in the 50's it wasn't but towards the late 50's. Elivs stayed with the same old safe pop music that while okay and had a loyal audience, was nothing like the Beatles. They changed with the times. They made political and socialy relavent music. They also really could sing.

  • @34cherry

Absolute rubbish, get your facts right. Elvis started in the mid 1950s not the 60s and was the first megastar of rock n roll. He wasn't as creative or innovative as the Beatles, but his effect, like theirs, is still felt. Both built on the foundations laid by Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Rob Johnston, Jerry Lewis, Bo Diddley and created the pop in popualr music.

  • @daveevans1000 Who the fuck is Rob Johnston?

  • @34cherry , daveevans1000 is correct. Instead of "I believe" I wish posters would just wiki the info to get the facts before posting anything. The "late 50's"? You never heard of "The Sun Sessions" from "54 &'55? You really need to brush up on R&R history before posting anything again. So much disinformation in the age where all the answers are easily at your keyboard. There is no excuse for being ignorant anymore.

  • George is so right! Wouldn't it have been great if Elvis had just put on a pair of jeans and sang when he got older?!

  • There's a Ayrton Senna poster at 0:15

  • Everyone has their own preferences.I love The Beatles and I'm an Elvis fan.You have to remember, eventhough Elvis didn't write songs he did everything on his own.He never performed with other big name artists for commercial gain.He was his own man.In my opinion when Elvis walked on the stage in the early 70s,he was the greatest.Nobody looked as good, sounded as good or moved as good.People say why didn't he just sing rock'n'roll and wear denim,it's because he wanted to develop as an artist.

  • how sad that George and Elvis are both gone......love hearing George's recollections......thanks for posting this

  • "It was sad"... LOL! So true.

  • George says "he did a couple of good tunes." lol. Yeah like "Something."

  • Its really nice to see them together like this enjoying each others company.

  • So nice to see 'the guys' together like this!!!

  • Both Elvis and the Beatles were from a different culture and a decade apart, but both travelled the same route of fame from their early lives via the vehicle of music. The Beatles freely admitted that the path was easier to follow once it has been discovered and travelled. Elvis was first and led the way and the Beatles had the talent to follow. Both are sadly missed.

  • @EliteTributeConcerts I don't know. I think more bands followed the Beatles. They Invented Progressive Rock, Metal, (where at the for front of Psychedelic Rock, & Punk before they where even invented.) Plus they sold the most albums of all time.

  • Comment removed

  • @EliteTributeConcerts im not trying to be disrespectful or to get you mad but elvis didnt do shit. he didnt write a song, or invent rocknroll or any style of music. He was just a figure, a puppet. All the work was done for him. I would say elvis opened the path for all the untalenteds like britney spears, lady gaga, and justin bieber. But I would say elvis,s music is pretty good. Im not bashing his music, im just saying that he is no pathmaker, or whatever,Hes just like michael jackson.

  • @yourtwistedable - Elvis used all the black guys music and because he was white and it was different and exciting music he got all the credit. I don't think he did it on purpose, I'm sure he liked black music, but it was the weasels that managed him and controlled him.

  • @Chris51 Elvis had a soft heart which helped make him a great star, the price he paid fpr this was the vultures who took advantage of him, for Elvis to say - 'go away' to them you get nothing more from me, would have conflicted deeply with Elvis values of sharing, he had so much and his love of helping people out and they knew this.

  • @yourtwistedable people have to keep the "Elvis thing" in perspective. Elvis was really more of an "entertainer", than an artist....similar to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin or any other famous pop/rock singer. Where as the Beatles, with a few exceptions wrote all their own songs and even wrote "many hits" for other artists. Elvis really has to be credited for paving the way for white rock music....just like Chuck Berry & Ike Turner paved the way for black entertainers / artists

  • @inkey2 I couldnt agree with you more.

  • @yourtwistedable "Before Elvis there was nothing" John Lennon :-)

  • @EliteTributeConcerts So John lennon is God or something? Seriously, I was cool with our argument but now you just pissed me off. Anyone can say anything, just because a dumbass said peace and love, and became famous for saying that crap doesnt mean that they are right. What I said was that elvis did not make, or change music. Other people did that for him, he just sang. In fact all whites especially elvis, they all copied from black peoples music. So dont come to me with some lennon crap

  • @yourtwistedable You are naive to think Elvis didn't change music. Elvis may have copied the music, that in itself is not a crime but Elvis took it to a wider audience. That audience was white and the major record companies were white. Other white artists had "borrowed" black music before him but non had the impact of Elvis. Black music before Elvis was going nowhere only around the same block of ghettos. I wouldn't call John Lennon just "anyone" myself but you have your own view I suppose.

  • @yourtwistedable haha look at black music today and say that again

  • @sk8freak3000 it sucks, but no one does anything today. producers are the talented ones and they still kinda sucks. The best music nowadays are non pop and experimental bands. Go listen to of montreal, thats some serious awesomeness and talent with creativity and originality.
