it should have the nubby thing called an "analog stick" be for the view, and triangle, O, X, and square be for forward, backwards, strafe left, and strafe right. L should be for opening doors and flipping switches. R for shooting of course. and the D-pad for swapping weapons.

Doom on PSP is great but i think it falls alittle short of the mark when you play it on the DS i mean yeah the PSP itself is the much better but for some reason the DS version seems to 'play' better with the map on the lower screen making it fell like a 'new' doom but still the same thing

I played with the wads rather than with PSX images since the wads are much much smaller in size.

And I strafed using square and X (thumb) and shot with R (index finger).

Yeah I just found some wad pack of Doom, Doom 2 and Final Doom, and they work perfectly with Time Machine. It was a weird pack though since it was post to have Ultimate Doom and even the save folder was for Ultimate, but the first Doom was not Ultimate (didn't have the fourth episode) and I even had to rename the Ultimate Doom save folder to just Doom for it to save there. The wads worked better than this, I only found one glitch in the whole package.

doom for ps1 works for psp, no flaws, mite avago & upload video of it. i think doom on ps1, snes & n64, r 1s to be proud of. & final dooms gr8. i ad doom 3 for pc but it got on me nerver so bort it on xbox to play on 360 & cant get far on it

the only difference i would really notice is the story. like the levels. i dont mind the buttons, as long as you can shoot. & either way, their still old graphics. but those things you mentioned do make some sorta change.

The whole "corrupted" thing is really complicated. Heck, I encountered that problem when I tried to put music on my PSP. Then, one night, all of a sudden, it worked. Keep trying, thoough. Even the slightest movement of the mouse can make a difference! If you're trying to paste any file onto your PSP, paste it in different ways. (Use the keyboard or the mouse). Be creative. Seriously, it's true!
