Make her voice louder. the lyrics are powerful use that to your advantage. I reckon if you change that, This would be more then worthy to deafen my neighbours. Peace maang
Keep making music opposite to Skrillex and the other abortions they call dubstep, with all their rediculous noises and sounds of metal banging.I'm gonna subscribe.
Hey, what do you use to get your bass wobbles? I'm not the biggest fan of 3xosc but I think you may be using NI Massive, an extremely great program but quite costly. Do you have any tips?
Wow, this was amazing. I got the chills during this song (if you know that feeling). I am definitely subscribing. I am 15 years old and wantto start making dubstep and i would only imagine if i could make music like this. Would you recomend FL studio or is there something better? Please message me
@MrGetbuff Cheers mate and yes from what I have experienced with Fl Studio it is great, even for the begineer. Albleton is meant to be 'better' but a lot of people I have seen say that said that it is not good for beginners. Once I feel as if I am comfortable with music production which I am still not as I am relatively new, I will move over to Ableton. But don't think that Fl Studio is just a baby version, it is still amazing and you can do so much with it.
@MrGetbuff and also, the way everyone's mind works with software is different. You might find Ableton very easy to use as a begineer and think the interface on Fl Studio is hard, check out tutorials on Youtube for both pieces of software on how to make a song and see which one you click best with. Good luck mate its nice I'm inspiring young people.
@piggyakaben Thanks a lot for the feedback. Yeah I agree with you about the strings, I made this song using headphones and what it sounds like on headphones is not the same on speakers, that's the difficult thing with music production, the outcome depends on so many factors such as people's soundcards, speakers etc... I used the software Fl Studio 9 to make this, from what I heard it isn't the best but it hasn't limited me in any way yet so I am reasonably happy with it :)
@piggyakaben Oh and make sure you have a reasonably powerful computer. I use to make all of my tunes on a netbook with 1gb ram and 1.66ghz processor which isn't a lot. The computer I am using now has 2.88ghz cpu and 3gb ram and even this struggles like shit. If I add more than 6 layers of sounds it starts stuttering and lagging and the only way to hear what it SHOULD sound like is by saving it to render it and playing it back :/. I am after a sound card which should solve the problem...
@FlexxArtist Ahh cheers mate! The laptop I'd be using has similar specs, but is fairly new so hopefully won't have built up loads of background rubbish to slow it down - I can find extra bits and pieces if need be. And tbh if you can make tunes like this with similar specs, there shouldn't be any trouble ;)
Yo Flexx, i think 17Tumba would be interested in this one. Ticks all the right boxes. Look him up, maybe email it to him. Everything he uploads gets thousands of veiws in less than a few hours. If you're willing to give away a free download here&there then he'll be even more interested. Check him out/give him a private message..... Oh and... 2thumbs up for a chilltastic choon!

@cjchute Downloaded the song and used the free software Audacity to cut out vocals that I wanted to use. Its not as easy as it sounds but I think it worked okay. Luckily this song was relatively easy to use because the original song only has her singing, a piano and strings and they are all recorded separately and layered together to make a song. In the old days it was usually all played live and recorded straight, that is why my new remix is out of time in parts as the tempo isn't consistant.
@papaversilvaticum I promise you this is my first attempt, only took me about 4-5 hours to make overall too lol. I heard the song whilst in a lesson at my college on Tuesday this week as it was being played on Radio 1 and I just thought this could work with dub, and I thought fuck it why not and decided to remix it myself lol. Check out other people's remixes, they are great too!
This is amazing man, the fact its your first attempt makes it even more impressive! What I like is you've managed to keep the vocals and the haunting way she sings in the remix.
@mags13579 Thank you so much, yeah I wanted to keep it at the original tempo of her song because if I sped up the vocals it wouldn't create the same vibe. Basically I wanted to build a song around the original rather than build the vocals around a Dubstep tune at 140bpm. Because of this I then thought I would give a go at making Dub as I am currently just experimenting with different genres to see which ones I am best at and to show I am capable. Thank you for your feedback - Flexx.

One thing I would say is I thought the strings were a tad overpowering, but thats just my opinion - subbed, keep up the good work
