  • Jordans ability to hang in the air double pump and shoot the ball all with one hand is nothing short of amazing. GOAT

  • so sweet!!!

  • No gay music exactly, italo music or spaghetti music, you know now why i have put this music.

  • the music is:We just moses

  • Michael Jordan is by far the best player of all time. I remember the day when he said in front of the cameras before game 7 vs the Indiana Pacers back in 1998 "We are going to win game 7" "I don't make promises. I don't even make them to my wife, but we will win game 7" And the rest is History. Long Live The King of Basketball!

  • type "short guy dunks" in the youtube search box to see a 5ft 5in guy dunking a 10ft hoop

  • supa kool music!

  • old school to the max

  • this is when he coulds fly

  • Italy is Jordan's kryptonyte..

  • @younglouisianaboy199 what do you mean?

  • @Shimandi73 Bruh idr, that was six months ago.

  • Nasty outlet pass at 1:04...dunk at the end is the greatest clip on youtube.

thanks for posting this rare vid

  • I LIKE THE SONG! WHATS THE NAME?

  • Bellissimo questo video! Grazie!

  • after he broke the backboard, all the shots were swish!

  • to jpsp74

Please letme know if you have a origilal video tape .

    Thanks

  • MJ back when he was rocking the mini-fro and the 14karat gold!!

  • the board could not handle michael

  • 2:45..what the heck was that guy doing rushing up to michael jordan? i know what i was doing on 8/25/1985. i was at shea stadium with my father watching dwight gooden become the youngest pitcher ever to win 20 games. i was 4.

  • 1:08

totally schooled him. wait, made him look like an overgrown slow dumb kid. only he isnt. he was guarding jordan.

  • Mute the song on this video, and play "Binary Star - Reality Check" = enjoy!!

  • On August 25, 1985, I was four years old, and I was in Shea Stadium, with my father, watching Dwight Gooden become the youngest pitcher ever to win 20 games in a season--my first ever baseball game. It's interesting to see what else happened on that day. :)

  • Yes,mauffager you're right,thank you.

  • 25 agosto 1985

(The coach is Santi Puglisi for the season 85/86, in 1986 arrives Tanjevic)

  • 25 agosto 1985

  • why did they show the fuck ups?

  • MJ should of played center this day...the tallest italian is about 5'7...

  • @mulder1021 Darnit, Bargnani must be 5'7'' then.

  • This video is so throwback, the short shorts and the gay music. But jordan is still jordan

  • @randycash39 the "gay music" is by the guy who shared this great vid, these probably were some highlights from a local TV, instead of the voices of the TV news man the owner of the put this 85 music:)

Great to see MJ in Italy, I'm Italian and this game was not far from where I live, but I was 3 at the time..:(

  • 2:19...

  • nice shorts......-.-

  • I guess he made it rain...literally...lol

  • breaking backboard game

  • Great video, definitely the most random MJ basketball video on the internet though...haha

  • whats this song??

  • @121106dzrs Moses - We Just ( New Mix)

    I love the song lol.

  • High Energy Jordan, what a pleasure to watch and what a pleasure to read the funniest comments here :-))) and I was very touched by Jordans Hall of Fame speech, I see nothing wrong with it.

  • did they lose the game at the end?

  • 0:58 - 1:03 funniest shit ever

  • I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol crazy athletism.. i love young mj.

  • Some of those guys on the court had no idea who they are palaying against... I think I reconginzed Drazen Dalipagic among other players, but I'm not sure...

  • who all is pplaying on jordans team??? i thought i saw barkley in there.

  • I would think you don't become the best at something without being a little bit of a jerk. Especially in sports where it's a cut throat situation. IMO he was by far a better role model than much of the shitheads we got today. At least Lebron James seems like a humble nice guy. Kobe. Not so much but that is what makes him most deadly on the court in this era. Arrogance. You can't go kissing everyone's ass when you're trying to beat them.

  • I was disappointed with his comments in his Hall of Fame speech. However, everyone I know who knows him (we're both from the same town in North Carolina) says that he's a great guy. I don't know him personally, but I've heard mostly good things about him.

  • Priceless footage!!!!!

  • 1.28 Borat? hahaha

  • Did you see that pass from MJ at 1:06 That is just crazy...directly in hands of player at half court. GOAT

  • whats the name of this song

  • "Our revolution", by Moses. Also known as "We just"

  • he can fly

  • This song would be terrible anywhere else. Jordan made it Hot

  • 5 stars just for the music! Moses - We Just. Awesome song!

  • bei tempi io vedevo la pepper...ma d lui non rikordo.....a ts

  • 2:04 he pets the camera guys head haha

  • quelli che a trieste videro questa partita sono invidiati ancora oggi ...e io c'ero !

  • he was drafted in 84' at the age of 21, so he was 23 when this game was filmed

  • mann 1:01 that guy had to mess michael jordan's great assist up.....

  • entire team=owned

  • This awsome clip tells me one thing: somewhere in the world today there is a 22 year old, half-Jordan half-Italian walking around, cause you know when you break a backboard, you get laid.

  • Very funny !

  • @AceMasterBeanSkin Your comment is by far and away the funniest comment I've seen on YouTube in a very long time. I hope it gets you laid.

  • @AceMasterBeanSkin

I hope you are wrong, and there are twins somewhere in Italy: one fully Italian and other like dad lol

  • 1:01 = fail

  • This is not suppose to be impressive... Games like this is not for competition but for fun..more like the globetrotters stuff. So why are you supposed to be impressed. It's actually the "old school" marketing of the NBA back in the days to promote basketball;that is, if you were very smart enough to sense It is not what it is; that is, you're supposed to be impressed. I mean look at the uniforms and the players and all...It just didn't show any competitiveness atmosphere.

  • Is that supposed to be English?

  • it's not supposed to. europeans got their first live taste of what the Greatest American Basketball player had to offer. I bet everyone in that stadium thats alive today remembers that game very well.

  • Comment removed

  • no this is in 1986 hes like 25 or 28

  • Jordan marcato da Nando Gentile, spettacolo!

  • scusa ma ke partita era??

  • lmao he plays out the lil kid at the end

  • michael jordan........lol that dude under him...what a shame.

  • It's interesting who has this game , no highlights , but also 1981 McDonald's High School? Certainly somebody has it, every year new games appear - which were missing earlier on the market. I have about 20000 games, but I received about 100 of them in this year. Earlier, I was sure that they don't exist - and it was mistake , they exist - private persons most often have them.

  • my old junior high basketball team was better than them

  • look at him destroy those bitches!!

  • the music explains how fun the 80s wuz, especially if u were a teenager like i wuz

  • great footage dude! Nice music with it too!

  • 2:20...

Today, I was playing basketball against michael jordan. I was standing under the backboard when he dunked on me. He broke the backboard. FML.

  • No one close ! MJ !

  • Man among boys..

  • i think he is too good for that competition:)

  • yeah ur sure

  • haha. gotta love the corny eighties montage

  • LMAO jordan looks like he was playing horse there. Doesn't even care against those clowns.

  • during the 80's nobody play basketball in uro. look at the 08 beijing final game, ugly win

  • mike is 22 here pretty young

  • In terms of leaping power, I think in 86' he was at the peak of his career.

  • why do u show him missing shots?!?

  • i think because its all rare footage

  • MJ: THE GREATEST EVER. A M A Z I N G

  • wow!!!! best mj video ever

  • what happens after the backboard is broken? Game stopped or still continue playing?

  • They made an imaginary backboard.that's why they almost lost, kept missing layups.

  • what do you mean imaginary backboard???

  • io c'ero!i was there!ciò muli iero là anca mi!

  • MJ the best

  • Micheal Jordan has BIG HANDS!!!!!!!

  • Make it rain

  • ok its like not even fair cuz MJ is like 5 billion times better than them plus they're not even trying. It's like me playing a bunch of middle school kids, i'd slaughter them

  • did u c the strange guy rush him at the end .........

  • yo what song is that

  • I think that is ABBA's "Chess"

  • When I did a google search on that, there were a bunch of varied results..

  • read the descr: "i have published the video with the Italo disco song of Moses:We Just (Our Revolution), of the year 86 also"

  • this shit's not even fair.

  • he was in the nba man! he left college in 1984

  • Look how quickly he gets to the basket at 1:10. one short step, 2 strides and dunk from the international line. AMAZING

  • was this when he was in college or pro

  • This was in 1986, Jordan was a rookie in the 84-85 season, he was already in the NBA when he played this match

  • whoa!

  • Damn Mr. Kotter got a glass shower.

  • he just fly's so gracefully with ease too

  • wouuuuuuahaahahahhahaaha truk de fouuuuuuuu

  • I wonder why Mj never mentioned this in any interviews actually the backboard breaking dunk, that seems like something you would want to talk about!

  • he probably wanted to keep it a hidden gem. so that over 20 years later just when everybody thought they've seen everything of MJ, BAM! something new appears that would get fans talkin and going nuts. I wonder when Fox Sports or the mainstream guys get a hold of this so they can feature it in their best damn dunks compilation. this one slip under the radar haha

  • lol he was just dicking around and still dominated

  • Vedere MJ in un intervista con la canotta della JUVECASERTA...nn ha prezzo

  • Michael Plays for italy?!!!

  • does anyone know the name of this beat????????

  • giuro che la canzone è tra le 3 canzoni più brutte che io abbia mai sentito

  • OMG this video is crazy. the other team was like "WTF?" I know at half time the player at 1:11 said, "Ok, who's gonna guard 23? Not me!" LOL then later on MJ comes off the pick-n-roll at 1:49 and dude just BACKS UP...lmao. and dude who got picked off Mike makes a "it isnt even worth it" defensive block attempt. HA!

  • he was sore on every part of he's body.

  • oh i meant how much did he score in that game

  • oh.

  • lol! you guys...:D

  • he is god

  • vera: A young Jordan? 1.7blocks per game and over 3 steals a game was not good defense. Lets not get into an all around game where he averaged 32.5ppg, 8rpg, 8apg and 2.89spg.

The mans jumper was always silky smooth. Look at any of the games that Hoopsencyclopedia posts and you'll see how amazing his jumper was.

His ft% was at 85.7% on his 3rd year and his fg% was always above 50% expect for the year of his injury.

  • Do you even know basketball? Jordan defense was always good. From first year in college through the pros. Only people that only focus on his offense didn't realize. He did not choose to shoot outside 15ft until later in his career. How many guards shot over a better percentage than him not Lebron or Kobe. I watched all his games from senior year in high school until retirement... alot of you cats never watched him until the pros if at all.

  • I can't agree with you, didn't the young Jordan received an MVP and Most Defensive Player in 1988? For me, 1984-1991 that is the unmatched Jordan as far as physical skills is concerned. His outside shooting is not terrible, he likes to penetrate defense rather shooting outside.

  • who here thinks that bron bron has a snowballs chance in hell of ever being defensive player of the year.... offense was only one part of Jordans all around game.. no comparison..never will

  • man...they just weren't....READY FOR MJ!

  • I wonder what happend after his airness breaked the backboard...

  • who else was in this game besides Jordan?. any other famous b-ballers?

  • Jordan in his prime, shot 35.2% from 3, 1984-1993, in the playoffs. Jordan shot 38.7%(55/142) in his first 3-peat run. Kobe shot 37.6%(58/154) in his three-peat. This is when the defenses were the stiffest, and kobe had many more easy looks with defenses collapsing on shaq, the finals MVP.

  • Jordan = 854 games, 25.5% at 1.2 attempts 37 games, 40.3% at 5.8 attempts (stats DO NOT include the short 3-line years)

    Kobe = 125 games, 41.9% at 9.1 attempts 741 games, 29.7% at 2.8 attempts

Kobe in games with 2 or less attempts, is 23.4%(101/432) for his career, Jordan is 23.3%(102/437) in games from 1986-1998 with two or less. Kobe is stellar in 14% of his games from 3, and way below par in 86% of his games on average.

  • obviously I knew a Kobe vs. Jordan debate would of come up...will the moderator close comments

  • Damn he had MAD SPRINGS!!!!! Den he broke tha backboard and made it rain on tha otha team!!!! lol DAMN SON!!!!

  • "especially when you consider that the three point line in MJ's day was farther away from the basket than it is presently."

You have no clue what you're talking about. The line was moved in for two years at some point in the 90's and then it moved right back out. It was 23'9 for the majority of MJ's career and for all of Kobe's.

  • Where can I find that jersey? those are my high school colors

  • kobe is the most overatted player of all time

    mj all the way

  • he isn't, lebron is

  • NONE like him..i said none..no way for kobe, lebron and anyone else

  • anyone know how many pts he scored in this game(s)?

  • 52 pts 10 rebs 9 asts 21-34 FG

  • Jordan developed his outside shot after the 37.1ppg season, becoming a more consistent scorer. Its little known, that in the Bulls 40 wins in 86(virtually half an NBA season), Jordan averaged 40.1 points a game, on 53% shooting.
