Stupid guy, the 2 litre Cosworth motor was the same from 1984 instead of the Subaru 2 litre that was designed in 1997. Plus that the Ford engine was above 200bhp 13 years earlier where the most powerful 2 litre was about 150bhp.

I'm a big Ford man myself but I respect Subaru's. They have a big presence here in Ireland and always will. I have had the pleasure of watching Bertie Fisher at full tilt in his Prodrive 555 on these roads and it was something else.
I'll be keeping an eye on Kris Meeke this weekend here at the WRC and he is in Eugene Donnelly's old S12 Imprezza.
