His voice is so low that it is almost inaudible, but this lowness is a manner of Japanese gentlemanship.

He does not put his hand on the Gold, but he only put his hand on the reinforcements stand. This is one of traditional give-up gestures of shogi players.

I think you made a mistake. When the other guy (name NAKAGAWA) took a Rook(at 5:20), he dropped this game. After HABU had dropped Silver-2b, NAKAGAWA's King was mated if NAKAGAWA moved his piece anywhere.
