....and, who are the guys in the back up band..doesn't appaer to be " the Americans "..and you never saw a drummer in the old performances, although I'm sure there was one on the recordings. Yes, I know Im asking alot of questions...just trying to get to the bottom of my curiosity about these ( only two ) videos from this period of time, when he looked so different...

I keep going back to this one..this same show he sang Cara Mia. It had to be lip synced because it sounds like the earlier original, l but he's obviously older here. This is the only video where he looks totally different than the early days or the later years. He was really skinny and his hair was very different. His EYES in this one are amazing..does anyone know what year this was? I heard he won an award for Cara Mia in Holland, 15 years after it was popular in the US..maybe this was then

I wish there were more videos on here of Jay around this age......he must be about 45 here...his looks are very different.....I believe he was lip syncing here...I dont care...I just love looking at him.....even now at 70 years old I just love to look at him...and the voice is still wonderful. If anyone has any footage of him in the inbetween years I'd love to see it
