I love your Jeep, man. Its clean. I have a 92 Briarwood XJ that is setup alot like yours. I have the full Rustys 6.5 inch kit with upper and lower control arms, full leaf pack, 9 degree axle shims, 1 inch tcase drop, track bar conversion with HD mount, HD tie rod conversion under the knuckle (all Rustys). Same black rims and MTs, etc

@ drummer2788: I'm doing the exact same thing, but if I were you I'd get 33s. on a 4.5" lift, get spacers and shackles for 200 bucks and u got another 1 1/2" of lift. Then trim a tiny bit and 33's have plenty of room to flex.

@thesamuri5 Yea ok.. this is the problem, right now im just a student! so what i wanna do it would take me like about 700 for the lift getting rough country the cheapest one! lol.. and 200 for the 32s that a cousin is selling me! then another 200 for the rimms.. thats about 1100.. thats the money that the school gives me!

i thought coil spacers and lift shackles were part of the lift kit. thats great that you can do them separately after the initial lift, it being all uni-body and such

have you done any engine performace work to it? if so what? if you don't mind me asking? also have you had any steering problems specifically poping?

No engine mods at all, and I drive it on the street and don't have any power issues. I did have some popping after installing the lift, however it was due to the lower trac bar bolt not being tight enough. Where that trac bar comes out of the Pitman arm on your steering box, follow that all the way down to the axle side and watch that bolt while a buddy saws your steering wheel back and forth.

did you jeep level out with the 2inch spacers up front im about to order the 4.5 from rusty but i wanna stuff the same tires but 33s instead on my cherokee i think ill need to trim a bit but not a big deal any suggestions??

Yes, I don't know if it was just my XJ or what, but the front was about 1.5" lower in the front after installing the lift. Popped the coil spacers in and now it looks great! From what I've read about the Rusty's 4.5, you will have to trim with 33's. It wasn't worth an extra half inch of ground clearance to me, and the 32's take me anywhere I point it. Good luck man :)
