  • This guy could Rip it hands down. Rip bro!

  • Superb palyer. Sounds much like Gary Moore melodic balads. Reminds me of Steve Lukather at some moments. The problem with the electric guitar is 60+ years since its invetion, and is very difficult to innovate, but this man sounds 80's classic, but improved. I like his style!

  • @SvenKruetzmaMusik

    KRAMER guiar

    CRATE stack

    and I don't know what kinda amplifier...maybe MARSHALL,but I'm not sure

  • @SvenKruetzmaMusik

He mosty used '89 Kramer Sustainer guitars and Marshall amps(he uses them in most videos you can find on youtube, including this one). I'm not 100% sure of the amp's exact model, but in his instructional videos he uses Marshall JMP-1 preamp and Marshall 9100 power amp. I also saw him using some kind of JCM in his older videos.

  • waw grandiose !!!

  • 5:22 the audince says lamb of god ?!?!?!?! :))

  • @armandddd

They are saying "Szép volt Zsolti" that means "well done Zsolti"

  • @NmGab thnk you very much..

  • @Kastel8989 just an improvisation

  • @armandddd wrong. the song is called "Temesvari Vasarnap". it means something like "Beautiful Sunday" if i got it right. :)

  • @metalnudel

Wrong again, The song actually means Temesvarian Sunday, Temesvar, or Timisoara, or Temesburg, is a City in Banat which is now in Romania, not for any other reason but I live there :)), still funny u thought the name of the city meant beautiful :)).

and btw, szép/szep is means beautiful

  • @Iruth27 oh thank you for correction :) i live in germany, i don't understand a single word of Romanian. lolz maybe the city is beautiful so Daczi had to write a song about it ;D greets from germany :>

  • @metalnudel @armandddd

"Temesvári Vasárnap" means "Sunday in Temesvár/Timişoara", and it was a song for the memory of the first Bikini Band concert in Romania after the Revolution of 1989, and for those who died in the revolution.

You should read these articles at wiki-en: Bikini_(Hungarian_band); Timişoara; Romanian_Revolution_of_1989

  • @armandddd He was an Idol in the guitar history as like Gary Moore and the bigest catasropha he dead

  • Ettől a számtól mindig kiráz a hideg! RIP Zsolt

  • Another Gary Moore?

  • Kiváló, R.I.P Zsolti

    Mindig velünk maradsz!

  • might just be the recording, but god that tone is dreadful.

  • y a meilleur comme guitariste!!!!!!!

  • 95 people don't like that video?!?!?! what the hell is wrong with you?!?!?!

  • I don't understand what was so good?

Seemed really amateur and sloppy. The Vibrato was all the same and he used the same bending and trills.

The harmony was just in 3rds, nothing clever there.

Blues licks? Is he trying to be 'emotional' or shreddy?

Can tell he doesn't know his natural minor scale very well if he's using them!

I'm just surprised no one has noticed that he's not a very good guitarist!

  • @billface ... "if it sounds good its good"-Yngwie J Malmsteen.. and this really does sound gud.. doesnt matter what scales etc etc he's using. guitar isnt a chapter in ur school book its a way to express urself

  • @manindaironmask

That's what I am saying though.

It doesn't sound good. I was just explaining why.

There was nothing there that I couldn't do, was just really not good.

  • @billface ... well im sure u listen to bands like bodom and megadeth and all..

but everyone has his or her own preference.. i too like those bands and music like this and i thought it was gud (this piece).. not brilliant.. and to others it was amazing.. and to u its not good so its about taste .. i mean i hate rave music and stuff but many love it.. so u cant say its good.. or its bad.. they are just opinions :D

  • @manindaironmask

I listen to alot more than that.

    But that's not the point.

I know the whole 'opinion argument'

And my opinion was that he's not very good.

I know shredding isn't really anything, but if you can't play anything remotely impressive in a solo, then what's the point.

I know people who've been playing a year who could play this.

  • @billface the guy in this video is, let's face it - just shit. it's cheesy, he has an awful tone and it sounds over rehearsed and composed, there's no emotion. but there's this thing called feeling, you know? if you can sweep pick really fast, or run up a scale fast, that's great, but let's move on, anyone can learn how to do that. solos are about feeling it, being in the moment and not relying on something you've rehearsed over and over. it doesn't have to be technical or "impressive".

  • @rexasul Obviously, we all know shredding is a joke!

But to be honest, anyone could sit there playing a shit solo, making a stupid face and doing some out of time bending, feel is not a musical devise, and no, not everyone can run scales fast, as this guy proves ;)

  • @billface anyone could shred if they practised long enough, clearly this guy just doesn't care, haha.

  • @billface

So just because he wan't British o American, he can't be good? Fuck off... He was awesome. Hungarians can't be good at anything, mate?

  • @MrMrrocklover Who even mentioned nationality?

    Stop trollin'.

  • @billface, obviously, you have no clue what you are about. This is a tribute video,; yes, it's cheesy, recorded ages ago, and this guy is dead for years now. But check out his other videos, he is better than you think.

  • i wish the audience had more lighters...

  • Goosebumps!!!!

  • örökre bennünk maradsz Zsolti

  • Sounds alot like The empty rooms solo from Gary Moore....great player tough!

  • @JamoZ46 just what i was going to say deffo borrowed some of empty rooms by Gary Moore.

  • perfection

  • thank God we've got the music to listen to forever

  • muy muy pero muy bueno este solo de guitarra

  • Na,meghallgattam ötezredjére is :) FANTASZTIKUS!

  • loads of feel but where is the rest..the technical virtuosity etc..nah if i want the ''best'' i'll look to Jeff loomis for feel and technique...'''azure haze' sums it up all in one tune

  • @nneevveerrmmoorree

For your comment i can supose you know nothing about music...

i rather play like then to be a Quick pikcer that only knows how to hit the notes.

  • I heard this a million times...boredom.

  • i can't believe what i hear there......amazing

  • It's his passion for the music that really comes through and makes it so good!

  • I wish he would sit in a lil' bit with Pink Floyd...just a lil bit....Rick

  • ezt a számot hallgatva mindig libabőrös leszek! RIP Zsolt!

  • Definitely the best instrumental guitar piece I've ever heard..........ever

  • so, this really is the best of the best OF YOUR bests?

  • moim zdaniem medal dla gościa- porostu cool :)

  • he is cool face

  • yikes - never heard of this guy - now I'm going to grab as much as I can. what a talent !!

  • Magnificent!

  • Breath-taking Harmonies and melodies O_O

  • @darklordbaf

    Yes, indeed!

  • Man this guy fucking rocks, I have no idea why does ppl like him have to die so early T_T

  • nah!

  • Awesome guitarist

  • Daczi Zsolt (1969-2007) R.I.P.

    Beatiful!

  • erm.. who's that guy? :P

  • can't see why we need to bring Yngwie into this. This guy doesn't pwn Yngwie at doing what Yngwie does because he isn't trying to. Some people just like a slower, more melodious line than what Yngwie provides and so they have this gentleman. Honestly the first minute is all the proof you need that great playing isn't about how many notes you can stuff into a few seconds or how many gold chains you can hang off your wrists while playing...

  • Ohh man!!

    this man pwns Yngwie!! :P

  • @Gorre92 No, he doesn't.

  • From 3:25 to 4:30 ... AWESOME

  • Meteme la pinga !!!!!!!

  • Dear zalman595, this video is a tribute to a great musician, who died of cancer and is probably not intended to spark a dispute about quality of guitar players. Just relax and enjoy the music.

  • Hi, Pete. If you look at some of the comments from a few months ago you will see that someone negged mine out after someone was pretty rude to me, when all I did was state an honest opinion. I was reacting to an obvious exaggeration, 'best of the best" and then left a list of ten of the worlds best , who I'm sure some of these readers have never seen. Sorry to hear about the guy's passing (wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy) but it doesn't change my opinion. But thanks for being a gentleman.

  • Hi zalman, sorry to hear being treated here badly. Zsolt whote this song in memory of his sister, became famous later under name The Sunday of Temesvar.Agree,it's not the top of his virtuosity, please check his other videos.I am musician myself, had a honour to play with him back in 1990, he was very introvert, not a wannabe star.He was one of the best guitar players in Hungary beside Tamas Szekeres. Every country has his heroes and is impossible to say who is the best. What counts, is the music.

  • Okay, Pete. Thanks for your courtesy. I have definite opinions but at the same time I try not to be rude to people. Here are some of the greats -- all on youtube, some you may not have heard of.

    1. Scotty Anderson

    2. Stochelo Rosenberg

    3. Birelli Lagrene

    4. Allan Holdsworth

    5. Jeff Beck

    6. Django Reinhardt

    7. Grant Green

    8. Fappy Lafertin

And of course -- Chet Atkins. Peace.

  • @zalman595 there is no room for yngwie !!??:S...

bad list to the recle bin

peace but yngwie is god of these ppl.. dude...

  • wheres george benson, bireli compted alot of his style from him? What about Tal Farlow? Robben Ford should be in place of jeff beck. Greg Howe should be on there as well. Have you ever heard the genius of that which is Pat Martino; Jazz legend.

  • @thejazzman8 django reinhardt, john mclaughlin, dimeola, steve howe, i like them too.

  • i saw mclaughlin in the duck room in st. louis, I wasn't that into him till that night, he blew me away...but yeah, django did it with two fingers

  • 'no soul' are u crazy guy?

  • good song no matter technique or not , sometimes technique just gets on the way of true emotions , i think music is just music.. untalented people are always arguing about technique and gear .. thousand dollar guitars and effects and they're just mediocre fucks

  • amazing... R.I.P

  • ---Szabi, kösssz ! Drága Daczi Zsolt, de szerettem ! Az egyik legjobb zenész volt, akit valaha hallottam !

  • Why the better man have to leave this world too early....HOLY FUCKING SHIT :'-( :'-( :'-(

  • Who is it ?????
