Did you shoot your webs so that they'd attach to the smaller UFOs that lead up to the statues? After that, destroy all the orbs at the tips of those poles that are sticking out of the giant UFO, once this is done, you'll be able to land safely on top and destroy the giant brain.

nope...not kidding...i did that and then it gets really really boring....trust me..give it a bit more time and you'll get bored bcuz you can't do anything else but swing...the fights are repetitive (ie. the goons and the moves) the best thing really is the somewhat limitless capabilities to swing thru the entire city but even then it gets boring after one too many the not being able to cross the bridge to explore more.

Everything in life gets boring if you give it enough time. I've sometimes started playing Spider-Man 2 just to swing around the city for several hours. Only other games I can think of where I've spent time basically achieving nothing are GTA 2, GTA VC, GTA SA and GTA IV. In those games I've just driven around doing nothing.

haha good point but what really did me in this game is the fact that spidey should be a little more powerful and I was really hoping the city didn't restrict me to a limit where I can halfway thru the bridge. i agree...but they announced in the advertisements no limits. if they allowed you to be on an island only then it wouldn't be so obvious.  Ie. remove the bridge or open the city more...i think the game would pose more of a challenge if that was there...i uno maybe its just me but if i had designed the game, i would done that or made the game randomly generate different things so its not soo repetitive...

I've had the game for 5 years and I still love to occasionally pop it in and do nothing. So remember, that's just your opinion; not everybody has to or will agree with you. And I wouldn't expect them to let you go past the bridge/ out of New York since Spidey lives in there.

In the movies peter parker gets bitten by a spider right? well what i dont get is. when a spider bites you it injects poisen into you so i dont get why peter has to go all "omg i got bite by a spider now i must wear a costume and somethin that shoots web to save nyc!!"
