damn the cgi here is so much better than most movies you see now days, especially SY FY movies(who am i kidding those movies are always bad), and this is from 96, i love this movie and miss my childhood days... no remakes for this one, instead re release it with some touch ups and put on blue ray, keep it classic, i just finished watching it with my little brother, and its exactly how i remembered, my little brother really enjoyed it, i couldnt help but feel like a kid again

God, I saw this in the theater when I was 8 years old, and this song still makes me all misty. Nothing wounds a child quite as deeply as seeing a dragon with Sean Connery's voice die.

Okay seriously, you know that Randy Edelman's a musical genius if this song has been engraved in your head the first time you heard it. I saw this movie when I was a little girl, I NEVER forgot the tune of this song--NEVER! There was a time when I didn't watch this movie in YEARS and the song never left my head. It's possibly THE best score in all of history. This is my favourite dragon movie...god it's the BEST!

this is one of the best and most under rated movies of all time IMO. the message in the movie itself is worthy of praise. I frickin love this movie even to this day and it brings forth a lot of emotions.

I don't know if it's just me, maybe because I saw most of this movies when I was small so it's burned into my memory or something. but when i watch older movies like this most times If feel these are more realistic. maybe because the characters back then were way better and more: real, more ppersonal and more friends then just allies who need to stay together otherways they're screwed. no that real friendship. does anyone feel related to this sort of feeling when watching old movies?
