  • why is it so dangerous?

  • Curious,......where did you get the ATC voice over of me ?

  • @jvangel I recorded it ;-)

  • LOL,.......So I was bored and decided to search for where I use to work and came across this video. I was an Air Traffic Controller @ DCA for 8 years, and the controller you hear talking is me. Talk about WOW ! My Son & I just listened to it and he said,....."That's You".

  • u needed to do river appraoch rwny 19

  • @MyPilot747 Thanks. I actually tried a night approach into RWY 19- please take a look!

  • I know this was a while ago... but the landing you're talking about actually comes from the opposite direction. The one where you can't use ILS and have to follow the Potomac.

  • Perhaps it's simply due to the way the video was edited or the recording software, but it appeared to me on the 2 internal shots that you were still travelling too fast on the runway when you made your turnoff. Any significant turns made while taxiing on the ground should be done at most at 15 knots but preferably around 5-10 knots groundspeed. If you already know this & it's due to a software glitch, please forgive me, but if not, that helps to add realism for future vids. Great video, though.

  • hard touch...

  • 1 question... why do he say "don't think"

  • @TEMPLE7D it say dont sink

  • where's the traffic holding for runway 1?

  • how in the gumby do u get the game to tell you ur altitude?

  • @tehnoobzpwnerrofl It's a feature built into the cockpit panel of the default 737. It's also available in some freeware & most payware panels. But, if it's not enabled, you won't hear it.

  • @tchapman1977 where is the button on the default 737?

  • @tehnoobzpwnerrofl There's no button to push. It's set up in the panel configuration file to automatically provide the altitude callouts. It provides a callout when the aircraft reaches 2500ft, 1000ft, 500ft, 400ft, 300ft, 200ft, 100ft, 50ft, 40ft, 30ft, 20ft & 10ft. Some panels are designed with the callouts built in...some don't.

  • @tchapman1977 Where can i find thos panel configuration tab i would like to have the call outs

  • @tehnoobzpwnerrofl I don't know which ones that have it, but you can check on Flightsim (dot ) com or Avsim (dot) com under panels & just try the freeware ones until you find one you like that has that feature. If you're using FSX, then the default 737 panel should have them already, though...if you're using FS2004, then you'll have to find a freeware add-on panel that has it.

  • @tchapman1977 I'm using fsx but ive never heard the 737 callout the altitude but thatnks for the website i definitely get some more planes

  • Try landing at Telluride (KTEX) on a foggy approach!

  • If you want a REALLY challenging approach, then try the runway 19 visual.

  • try the other side and it will be challenging

  • Can you landing on rwy 19 at the opposite side? The DME approach will get pretty close to the white house area.

  • @dpurdue runway 19 is the harder and the more famous approach. it involves a EXTREMELY short final.

  • how did you get the altitude callouts

  • nice landing

  • whats the difference between fsx and fsx gold

  • im so annoyed, i cant find Ronald Reaganon airport my fsx can anyone help, i have the fsx gold addition.....!

  • @Cuan95 If your still looking, its in virginia.

  • what was the music from in the begining?

  • dont think ?

    lmfaoo ahaha

  • What atc is that?

  • nice vid :)
