Thanks, I know music is such a personal thing but when you find songwriters and singers of the calibre of Neil Hannnon and Rufus Wainwright, I do wonder how they have not taken over the world with their music.

Thanks, it is always difficult to do such complex arrangements justice on one instrument, you invariably have to leave something out. I try and incorporate as much as possible. i'm glad you liked it :-)

'Eric' now there is one of Mr Hannon's stranger songs! I love the whole Fin de Siecle album, such diversity. I love Thrillseeker and The Certainty of Chance .......and then there is Sweden and Here comes the Flood ..... and of course Commuter Love.

I would say it's my favourite DC album but I could say the same to all of them!

That was great, man. Commuter Love is my favourite DC song, such an intricate structure. Love the fills you added to replace the solo.

Did you alter some of the chords or did you stick with the original? Hard to tell when listening to the original, they put in such a full arrangement and the guitar's not particularly high in the mix. Great to hear the bones of the song dry though.

Thanks for the possitive comments. I Agree this is one of Mr Hannons finest (and there are alot of fine ones!). I got the bulk of the chords from one of a couple of people that have transcribed loads of DC songs for guitar (Sponge Monkey and Jon Senior). I think they pretty much do it by ear and definitely deserve a mention here. Then I just embelished it to my liking and style (solo fills etc). If you play the guitar and like DC you should google them and see what you get.

That is a truly great cover of a superb TDC song! Love your version of National Express too. I'm practising 'Going Downhill Fast' and 'Mastermind' at the moment, so between us we can  dramatically increase the amount of Neil Hannon covers on youtube!

Absolutely, thanks for the positive comments. I have done a version of Mastermind already, which I have tried to upload to my channel on a couple of occassions but it kept crashing half way through. Shall I leave it for now and let you put your version up when it is ready?
