How do you adjust the record box when recording?

For those of you who can't save do this.

Go to "Options > Program Options > Directory for Recording > Use User Specified Directory". Once you're in there change it to the computer account you're on, and save the files in your desktop. Hope this helps.

CamStudio is great. I'm not a techie & was able to learn. For me saving the files to the desktop from there was the easiest. To locate workarounds for how to troubleshoot sound/video settings issues they have a blog on Wordpress.

You can either change the video quality in the video options (Options tab) or you can try changing the size of the box your trying to record.

It should be on your desktop, but if it's not, you can look in the file where you saved it originally and open it from there.

hey you know when you clicked how it made thadt ripple i went to cursor options and i found out how to make the cursor kighlighted but i cant find out how to make it ripple plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me =(

Although I've got a video on how to use CamStudio, I use a program called Camtasia to make my videos. Camtasia has that "ripple" effect to indicate a mouse click.

you can go to the start button in the bottom left corner of the screen go to your control options and click mouse. then go ahead and click pointer options and then it will give you the option whenever you press ctrl, it will make a ripple.

normally it should save the file after you stop recording. Most of the time its set to save in you windows temp directory. Its a good to go to "options" -> "program option" -> "play avi after recording stops" -> choose a player and also go to "name of avi file" and select "ask for file name".

If these options are not set then camstudio save the file but you won't give you any clues about what it did.

well probably because your computer might be a little bit slow it hapenns it used to happen to me with my old computer but now i got super computer lol
