He's out on patrol in Lash-ka-ghar, one of the most dangerous places in Helmand, he was a JTAC a forward air controller he was in the Forward Operating Bases his came under almost daily rocket and mortar attack so ye is was in a lot of danger. Why is it that people believe he wasn't? He wanted to be in the thick of it like any other squaddie. And if anything once his cover was blown he was probably in more danger.

@Y2KillerSPOOBLY Prince Harry is a JTAC, (Joint Tactical Air Controller), the U.S. Marine Corps equivalent being FAC (Forward Air Controller). What he does it locate, confirm, and call in airstrikes on enemy positions which places him right among ground troops. He graduated from Sandhurst Military Academy, so he's an officer. I'm not sure but last time I read, he was a Lieutenant. He may been promoted since then. I really respect the leadership by example he exhibits by being amongst the troops.

People think that who he is takes away from who he could actually be and aparently hes a soldier. And yes he is getting shot at. He's just a regular dude who wanted to serve. The only BULLSHIT was political advisors not letting him go to afghanistan.
