Great feature list. However, you forgot the #1 most important feature that Palm completely disabled since the Palm Centro:

Palm desktop.

Without the ability Palm pioneered to *two-way* sync your contacts, memos, and calender to a single desktop application, and have it accessible on your computer just by plugging it in, this is a crippled Palm device.

i have this phone, it sucks im on my 3rd one. the multi tasking is horible i can only have 3 cards oppen at a time, it turns off if it hits of my leg to hard when im my pocket, charging it to frequintly can cause it to die faster and crack the screen, takes 4.5 min to turn on. the apps suck, and customer service for bell and sprint is just bull shit...

@Dontpickmelast101 wrong. if the pre were unlocked, it will work on another CDMA network(VZW, Sprint) it will not work on the GSM networks.(ATT,T-Mobile)

I actually just got mine for Sprint today. It's amazing. Great phone. And the build qualit is nothing of what it use to be. Very solid.

well wat your saying bout the phone is true, expect the battery isn't all that bad...the internet is the best feature on the phone, texting is great, apps are okay but they not like iphone...if you were to homebrew your pre than you could get alot of useful apps...

I just got this phone, 3 days agao, it came half charged and i havent charged it since, and hasnt died.

and you never need to turn it off, theres a lock button so when your not using it the battery wont get drained

@longusername576 the battery is now fine after their newest updates, and no it does not get dirty, also it does not take a long time to turn on anymore as they have fixed that in their newest update. There are also new features coming in february for free as an update to all palm users.

you only have to turn it on 1 time, after that youre all good. the battery life has improved a lot with the new updates. if you have any more questions send me a message and ill help you out.

for me it lasts about 17 hours, and im on it all day long. all i did was turn off automatic email alerts, location services and wifi and that helps a lot

@rigolin1771 Actually, if you have a Gmail account, setting it to "As items arrive" will save a ton of battery since webOS does push Gmail.

If only the HD2 and Palm Pre concepts were combined into one, with the 500GB Archos capacity I think it would be practically perfect. So I guess I'll be getting a couple or all three of them till then.. I LOVE The Palm Pre OS, the form factor and vertical qwerty, but wish the screen and keys were bigger and the capacity huge. Based on some videos that show #MIN and Verizon Wireless settings the HD2 seems to be coming out for Verizon as well!:)

what? Yeah I read that crap on Gizmodo about the sides cutting your fingers but 2 points on that from someone who really HAS A PRE (hint: it's me). 1) Gizmodo is run and populated by Apple iWhores. 2) The sides ARE sharp compared to a fvcking marshmallow or curved metal (like iPhone), but its NOT sharp enough to CUT you unless you saw against your skin for several minutes with A LOT of pressure. Basically you have to be a retard to cut yourself with the bottom of your fvckin phone. THE END.
