It sure looked like he hit in the bread basket to me, and he didn't finish it off because of the dogs in the way and the moose was thrashing. It looked ok to me.

it looks brutal. but that moose did not suffer. it is a big animal and i takes a while for it to bleed to death after being shot. that's all. the hunter was a bit unlucky. the dog got in the way, for the final and "pulling out the plug" shot!
