Just in response to your notes section, I think the reason people say don't use healing touch is because in Under the knife if you used it you couldnt S rank that mission (which is the highest rank in that version)

Once you understood Onyx' tricks, it isn't so hard anymore.
Really, I had LOTS of problems with Soma X2 ( o_o), but it's X4 where I got my first XS on, after ca. 3 tries.

Lol, it's easy to figure it out. Just look for it's eyes. Cut the one with the 4s. The ones with the threes, don't!

That was very well done man. You are da bomb. But I don't think the Healing Touch was at all needed there. I mean granted I haven't played New Blood on anything higher then Easy (yet...) but I'm sure its not that hard to find Onyx if you keep an eye on him. Besides, don't you get more points for not using a Healing Touch? I know you did in the first game but I'm not sure if you do in this one.

Yeah, on EASY, it's not difficult, but on HARD, you don't have much time to find it before it rip off the organ, and the toxins it inject in the body (the yellow web) are degenerating the vitals fast.

I don't have NB, but I did beat Savato on Under the Knife, and I've seen a video of Cardia on hard mode, and it was...dissapointing. lol
