  • FAG ENABLER!

  • How do you enable someone to be a fag? People are born gay.

  • @billthethrill1

Government enabler. Hate enabler. Stop using religious collectivism to regulate other people's relationships and sex lives.

  • @billthethrill1 HOMOPHOBIC SCUM!

  • Most of these people in the New England states are Idiots with no scruples (the ones that are pro-same sex marriage)Great news is that these states have such low populations that we have cities with larger population than their states have.

  • davidls11

There you go, Do what you folks do best. When you have nothing of substance to say, you can always attack a name.

  • Fine, bitch. When NY comes on board (soon) we'll have same-sex marriage available to around 15% of the nation's population. And it won't stop there. Why are you so opposed to gay marriage anyway? It won't hurt anyone and it will help many.

  • david11

    "Fine, bitch."

    That' your name not mine.

  • davidls11 This is what all of you do, use Ad hominem arguments which is a method that trys to discredit a claim or proposal by attacking its proponents instead of providing a reasoned examination of the proposal itself. Hope this did not go over your head

  • No, bitch, I think I understand. I do gots me some book learnin'. And it's "tries", not "trys".

  • New Hampshire has 1 MIllion ppl

    California has 37 MIllion ppl

These 6 states that passes it only have 15mill ppl which is less than 5% of the population of U.S. while CA has 12% of popl.

  • Congratulations, you can do basic math. Now what's your point? The nation, along with the rest of the civilized world, is moving towards equality for all, regardless of their sexual orientation. Why on earth would you be opposed to such a good thing? And if you reply, please keep religion (aka-superstition) out of it.

  • David11

Whatever. It went over your head.

  • I must agree with you. Only a spinless coward would stand up for the rights of others. Also only idiots can think outside their own narrow mindset to consider the views of others.

  • warjikin, do what you gays do best, Attack! Get over it. Gays have no right to get married. Period. 2 penises don't fit &, 2 vaginas don't fit. A square peg doesn't fit into a round hole. Duh!

  • If two men or two women love each other, why shouldn't they get married? A straight couple is no better and no worse than a gay couple.

Also a square peg may not fit a round hole, but a penis is not a square peg. Gay men can easily have anal and oral sex. Two women can perform oral, use sex toys, and even rub their clitori together. If the square peg does not fit the round hole, find the square hole or the round peg.

  • warjikin "Also a square peg may not fit a round hole, but a penis is not a square peg."

    It went over your head

  • Apparrently your talking points go over people's heads quite often. I think maybe you are bad at explaining your point of view. Also it's hard to understand your thoughts when you don't expond.

What did I get wrong about your analogy?

If the square peg is not a penis, what is it? If the round hole is not a vagina, what is it? Are you making a metaphor that the gays are the square peg and don't fit into the round hole of larger society?

  • @ClassynClassy

Either that or you used a flawed metaphor. But that would involve some ability to self-evaluate. Which apparently is way beyond your capabilities.

  • Another state puts California to shame. Being from California I'm ashamed that Californians proved California to be what they've accused other states of being. Aside from the Coastal and Bay Area, the rest is Jesusville. Congratulations to the gays of New Hampshire!

  • He just signed it today!!! YAYYY!!!

  • Today will go down as a day of shame in New Hampshires history

  • And yet people like claim to to stand for freedom and democracy. Obviously not.

  • Assuming you mean people like me, i do stand for freedom and democracy, we elected lynch because of his beliefs, and he had stated multiple times he is against gay marriage, and for freedom, how does that apply? They are not slaves they are free.

  • Hey, just because one person in a state believes in something, doesn't mean his belief has won over everyone's. He knows that maybe he does not support gay marriage, but it's part of people's rights, and that this state, Live Free Or Die, shouldn't be left behind. I find Lynch's move incredibly mature and shows that some politicians do what they are SUPPOSED to. Live and fight for the Constitution, not for their own person gain. GO LYNCH!

  • Where in the constitution does it say Gay marriage is legal, so he can't be fighting for what doe not exist. We elected lynch because of his beliefs, one being gay marriage is wrong, and now he has chosen a smaller portion of the population to side with, turning on the majority of his voters, who elected him, knowing what he stood agaisnt.

  • No where, not yet. But it does say that people have the right for freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. All men were created equally, meaning straight couples are no more human or no more American or anything than gay couples. AND, Lynch did say he was against gay marriage, but ever since this was brought up last year, he had always said he would sign the bill. And it's not the smaller portion. Trust me. New Hampshire is a free and equal state. Deal with it.

  • Wow, you actually believe they will put it in the constitution, wow. In their time "all men are created equally" really did not apply seeing as how there were slaves, and ok they are created equally, when they are born they are equal, then they take steps into becoming unequal.

  • So, you're telling me that equal rights for every American citizen isn't what you believe in?

    WOW.

Usually homophobes I meet are pretty bad. You just took the cake. If you don't like our countries morals, I think the legalization of gay marriage is the least of your problems buddy. Go back to the Dark Ages, where ignorance like yours was truly acceptable.

  • Hmm countries Morals? This country was founded on religion and every religion i know says homosexuality is wrong, so your morals are definitely not the countries'. I never implied or said i was afraid of homos, if they wanna butt fuck that's fine, but marriage is a religious union, and as i stated before, religion doesn't like homosexuals.

  • Not all religions say homosexuality is wrong. You can't just say that unless you've done extensive research on every single religion. This country was founded on the right to religion. People left Europe to be here because they had religion forced on them. You can't force your religion on people. And if you were paying attention, Lynch said that churches are not being forced to perform. That is their right. And marriage is not always religious. It's about equal rights, not about God or Jesus.

  • So you have done extensive research to say your counterpart? I am not forcing my religion on anyone, i also never said marriage is religious, in the definition of marriage it is a religious union, if its about equal rights, that's what a civil union is for.

  • Yes, it's my life's plan to spread peace and harmony in at least this country, so I've read a thing or two, to say the least.

Listen, you're obviously going to continue to cry about something that doesn't even affect you, or anyone else on this earth. You're not gay, so why should you even have an opinion? A civil union promotes the term separate but equal, which was proven unconstitutional in the Plessy v. Ferg case.

And by using your religion as your defense, you are forcing religion.

  • Then your goal is doomed to go down in flames. So because im not a soldier i shouldn't have an opinion about the wars? Or im not a politician so i shouldn't have an opinion about what goes on in dc or im not a mechanic so i cant say my car needs a tune-up, that philosophy is greatly flawed. How in the blue world does a civil union promote separate but equal? It allows gay couples to visit each other in hospitals, etc, how is it separate.

  • yay!

  • I'm soooooo excited too! Let's hope he signs it.

  • NEW HAMPSHIRE RULES.

    IT'S A FACT.

  • Are you forgetting that Governor Lynch does not approve of same-sex marriage and it will only become law if he doesn't veto it? He has yet to reveal what he will do.

  • Good Point! Okay, everyone should e-mail him. I just did it this afternoon. It's easy; google John Lynch governor or New Hampshire governor and on his official page is a contact link. Fill in the info and send a brief message. It took me less than 1 minute!

Thank you New Hampshire Senate! What is it with New England?! You guys rock! You are showing us out in California how to do it, and we appreciate it!!!

  • No I am not forgetting it. But seriously, it was passed from the house to the senate. It needs to go through the house once more, then he vetoes or signs it. If Lynch, a supporter or civil unions not marriages, does not sign the bill after so much promise, he isn't doing his job very well.

  • A battle's been won.. best wishes with the war :)

  • With 44 more states to go, I fear that this war will take longer than the cold war. What's important is to keep the current 6 states from ending up like California.

  • Oh such a blessed thing. Thanks for posting.

  • So first off, I love that all of the comments above me are postive!! Second off.... HELLZ YEAH I CAN GET MARRIED NOW! Third off, who wants to marry me... JKLOLZ! Thanks for doing this one withone me Lea... we'll make a vid about it together this weekend or some nonsense... LOVE YA!

    -Kevin!!!! <---- these are necessary!

  • KEVIIIIN. I almost came to your house with my laptop when Josh texted me. Like, i freaked out soooo bad. Love you to death babycakes.

  • I wasn't home anyways babe... I was hanging out at the school with some friends when Josh txt'd me! We must get together soon and make some videos!

  • lets go NH! i live in SC and i doubt it will be legal here anytime soon, but way to go NH, show the country that the world won't collapse because gay people can get married

  • Haha, New England's the trend setter. C: We try our best.

Naw, if you guys fight like the kids have all year here, I'm sure anything can happen. Though, a southern state's support would be pretty badass. Definitely what this movement would need.

  • Thanks for posting. Your enthusiasm and happiness are truly touching. My husband and I have been together almost 15 years and our Canadian marriage isn't recognized in our home state (Oregon). But all our progress this month leads me to believe that we will win someday soon.

    Way to go NH!

  • You are very welcome. And congrats on keeping up with your honest passions. It touches me enough to motivate to fight for the rights of others.

Hopefully all fifty will follow quick suit, including your hometown. Everyone deserves to be happy.

  • Go New Hampshire!

    Live free or die!

  • i know ...we're shocked too.

We predicted that they would vote it down because the committee said NO.

Let's see what the Gov do??????

call him and tell him not to VETO !!!! please !!!!

  • Congratulations New Hampshire!
