The God I serve is a God of self-determination. He did not create us to be robots, He intended for us to have free will to make decisions. Whether or not Prop 8 is passed or not, regardless of who supports it or not, God's Word will remain the same now and forever more. The accountability for the individual remains the same. I don't depend on my spiritual leader and especially not a politician to be my moral compass. The Bible instructs us to know and abide by the Word for ourself.

All of the people who are commenting and quoting the old testament do not understand. Jesus does forgive but only if you repent of your sins. In Deuteronomy, it is specified that the two fibers that should not be combined are wool and linen, and those are the only fibers that cannot be combined. Orthodox Jews are very meticulous about that, and we are also meticulous about not planting two kinds of seed together. Your rationalization, therefore, does not work.

He's not an Orthodox Jew. He should be out killing most farmers in the name of the Lord. My point was that most, if not all, people choose what parts of the bible they want to believe in. How many of these anti gay people do you think have broken 1 of the 10 commandants today? I would guess pretty close to all of them. If they coveted someone's car or house I really don't give a crap. It's not hurting anyone. Two consenting adults having sex isn't hurting anyone. Why do these people care?

Explain HOW Dr. King would be 'ashamed' rather than just making a baseless, cowardly accusation against Jesse, who stands openly for God and His Word, unlike KJ.

Explain WHAT is so 'good' about KJ's position on gay marriage. KJ claims to be a Christian, but words are cheap. He can't have his 'private beliefs' while publicly rejecting them. KJ might gain the praise of men, but he can't fool God with his political doublespeak.
