Lastly, people don't always choose prosperity over self-rule. The British Empire was stable, modern, prosperous and huge. Yet, the Americans broke free, to create their own, very, very nascent United States.

All of Pakistan's four main growth sectors...ie textiles, info tech, finance & telecoms came from indigenous corporate reinvestment & innovation from its business community...not from overseas
