Been playing for over 2 years and i am actually learning a lot more allready. As soon as I get a new job i will deffinately be planning to donate to you.
do you have any lessons or would be willing to make one about transcribing? Everyone talks about learning songs by ear anmd not using tabs, but nobody says how to do it
@ShredGuitarAcademy thanks for answering so fast, by the way, this lesson is really helpful, when I looked at notations I was always like wtf, sometimes there are 8 notes "together" (connected) and sometimes 4, some more, I didn't know what it was all about and I think it'll be heplful for figuring out the rythm of riffs.
Another thing, I can't see any of your vids in your channel, the playlist is "private"
@MehdiGlz I have no idea why that would be - YouTube can be glitchy as hell. Let me know if you still have that problem in a few days. They aren't marked private by me that's for sure.\m/
@MehdiGlz I checked from one of my other accounts. They show up for me so I don't know why they wouldn't for you. Check back in awhile and let me know, YouTube can be pretty glitchy.
@MehdiGlz well I think it comes from learning scales, when I started to learn a bunch of scales I started to recognize what key it is. So If I listen to any song I can tell you what key it's in. and learning by ear u just listen to the song or something and try to match the sounds on your guitar, and that's it.
dude..i love you man...i used to be always scared to learn these subdivisions cuz they looked so complicated....but now i've understood very clearly! thanks a lot!!
@anshumanchaube I don't really know how to answer this because I'm pretty sure all these questions are answered in the video and I don't think I could possibly better explain them in a couple sentences here. If you are interested in private lessons with me via webcam over Skype I'm working on setting that up. Send me an email if you're interested. Thats the only way I think I could better understand and answer your questions.
Very good . taking lots of mental Notes! Will use for reference Until get a chance to Gather my thoughts & make my on little paper like this one & move on to the next lesson. Thanks a bunch SGA!!
@crucifyme88 I'm not exactly sure If I understand your question completely but if you are asking how you'd count any subdivision in 3/4 time as opposed to 4/4 you would simply say the subdivision count for 3 beats instead of 4. So for example to count eighth notes in 4/4 time you would say 1+2+3+4+1+2+3+4+ etc. and for 3/4 time you would count 1+2+3+1+2+3+
Thanks to taking band in middle school, I can read music :)
