The thing I find interesting that you guys keep saying he was unaware of his sexiness. Surprisingly he was self conscious about his weight. During this time, he called it the Fat Elvis days which I don't understand, well I do, I've been there, why he thought he was fat. I know a reporter called him the Fat Beatle once, but he looks so good with meat on his bones. I call this the babyfat days though.So cute.

@themillenia He was so not fat! He was probably being compared to George, who was stick thin so in comparison he was bigger. HE WAS NOT FAT THOUGH. He was so sexy in this time period, he looked really really hot and he lloks better then than later when he was really skinny.

@themillenia I agree with you that he wasn't even fat, but the time period he felt this way was in 1965 around the "Help" film. In this interview (which is from 1966, not 1965) John had already started losing weight. You can tell because his face is much thinner overall. His body is as well, though you can't really tell in this video and the bright orange outfit he's wearing, lol! But, personally, I don't think he was ever fat. He had serious insecurities. Seems strange for such a hot guy.

For those wondering, John was questioned (once again) regarding his "Jesus statement" during an Aug. 15th, 1966 Wash. DC press conference:

Q: "The story from the Vatican claimed that the official Vatican newspaper defended your statement. Have you seen this?"

JOHN: "I've seen... uhh... I've seen similar versions of what you're talking about in the paper."

Q: "Do you feel better about the whole thing?"

JOHN: "Well, if it makes other people feel better, it'll make me feel better."

God..John is so friggin' SEXY, SEXY, SEXY here!!!!..the way he looks..the way he talks..his mannerisms..everything..and as a number of you already put so eloquently and correctly, I may add, he's even more sexier because he's so unaware of it. He doesn't come across at all like he knows he's just one massive blob of oozing sex appeal..and THAT is what makes him adorably appealing. Jonas Brothers..Justin Beiber, etal..eat your hearts out and learn from a REAL man what it means to be sexy.
