Nice! I noticed you guys do alot of heavy singles in training. Do you ever find that to burn you out and how often do you include rep work? Just curious...
Awesome vid as usual! I saw that you said you only pull 2 times a month, when you started were you deadlifting every week? Goodluck at the meet in nov
I know and people still call him skinny? He looks a lot different in video than he does in person.. He's alot bigger in person lol...i even look smaller in my videos too.
great lifting. Chris got the initial pull off the ground with 800 really nicely, but that lockout looked pretty hard. and Eric you got 800 very comfortably!
@EricLilliebridge thanks for response, I am looking forward to deadlifting with a deadlift bar someday, lol. Anyways, good luck at your next meet, not that you need it.
@EricLilliebridge wow but why he done 800 6 months ago much easier ? :( seems his noob gains at 700-800 (lol)are gone ? at that rate he would have 825 in 2 months and 845 now wtf :(
Because he hasn't trained pulls heavy at all in the past 6 weeks. The last time he pulled heavy was with me back when he attempted 830 and i attempted 840. If you take off that much time between pulls your strength will drop no matter how much you eat and keep your weight up. I did 765 two weeks ago and it was hard as hell because i took off a month straight no pulls. Then did 800 on saturday and it felt way easier than 765 two weeks before. Wait in 2 weeks and see how his pulls look
Thanks! And it's my own program lol i write my training cycles out myself, i've never followed anyone's programs before but my own. I just pyramid train and add more weight each week when training for a meet. The most important thing is you have to have a goal on each of your lifts that you're shooting for... otherwise it's going to make your training a lot more difficult.
holy shit at chris' bar speed with 740. you guys are my fucking heroes.
