Excellent video. I still get into the Alum House on a weekly basis. I've also heard that something has been seen outside the pub on the old path down the side. I've not seen it myself but have spoken to others that have.

You should spend the night in the men's toilet of The Alum - no doubt you'll find the homeless man who breaks in via the cellar following the demolition of his old house (the multi-story carpark on mile end road).

He's been doing it since the Ferry Tavern was demolished, he used to sleep there too.

He's not a ghost, just a bit mental.

I wonder if this person actually believes this crap himself or is he as gullable and stupid as the people who watch this and think "Ooooo thats spooky ! ". perhaps he is just trying drum up some tourism for South Shields.

This only reafirms my mistrust of middle aged men with ponytails.
