  • wooo.. he's lucky..

  • it wanted to play dead.

  • Accident Operator Almost Kills Rig.

  • huh, there's your problem, if you zoom in it says "made in china" underneath it.

  • Must've worked for Halliburton

  • looks like it was a comlete accident that nothing to do with pressure you dumbasses....it was si ply california dumbasses

  • Looks like he had too much downpressure and wasnt paying attention. the drill rod pushed down too hard and picked up the rig, then the weight of the rig bent the rod and it tipped over

  • that was a rad clip love the shot a day style until the crash nice work

  • Thats a carton.lol

  • Thank Llama for using our song on a vid that has got over 1 million views. Couldn't ask for more. If your in SoCal come to the Doll Hut April 15th for our show, contact us to let us know your coming and we'll bring something special for ya.

    Thanks

    Bass Whore Sean

  • 405 people don't like to piss in a cup..

  • only a complete dope could put a rig over,.he should have know the ground he was on and know the displacement specs for that rig, Bauer give you all the spec you need for all there machines so the ground should have been compacted to the right KPA for that rig, there's no excuse for tipping any machine over only operator error.fucking doppy cunt should be made to pay for it....no i don't own rigs but i do operate them and cranes.

  • How do you topple a drill rig on flat ground??

  • @docktergonzo1 that is a bauer BG25 or 28. It has a safety feature in the cab where the operator pushes a button while he tracks the machine. This self-levelling feature keeps the mast plumb so there's no way the weight of the rotary drill head can pull the machine over like it did this one. That specific drill head weighs over 5 ton but being up so high has a lot of leverage and is equivalent to more than 10 ton up there. More than one degree of the mast in the forward direction is enough.

  • I never heard of a piler drill but what kind of dick drives with the hammer thing elevated, first thing you learn when ofsiding let alone operating I hope this idiot learnt his lesson.

  • @venomn100 You obviously don't know how these machines work venomn. They have that specific rig set up in CFA (continuous flight auger configuraton. When they are set up like that the auger string hangs below the rotary drill head so no way to bring the rotary down before moving the machine to the next pile position. The only way to prevent this kind of accident is for the operator to ensure he has a piling platform certificate which guarantees that his work area is well compacted and level.

  • @tanishatania NO NO NO NO When moving a rig the mast has to be in the "traveling" position.

This is OBVIOSLY not a fixed mast, look at the end of the day I wish he and you and every other cockroach die a horible death. stay off of heavy machinary and die,

die die die die die die die .

I love watching these accidents becouse eventualy somone dies , dont talk just die

  • @venomn100 you dig a hole you fall in it yourself no?

  • @venomn100 you dig a hole you fall in it yourself no? Point a finger at me you have three pointed at yourself

  • @tanishatania dig a hole you fall in no, wht a dick. . you stick a carrot up your bum and a donkey eats your arse no?lol, by the way only a retard falls in his own hole

  • underground parking structure. what a dumbass super or egineer who decided to not look at whats underneath first.

  • gosh....these machines must be so damn expensive!!!beads of sweat of your forhead if this is your fault. :D

  • thats what happens when you jack off mother earth

  • this is why you always tram boomed down.unless you aren't travelling far and the terrain isn't crazy uneven.

  • haha the whores of tijuana?

  • transformer =P haha

  • Most pile hydraulic pile driving rigs I've seen turn over were not on mats. These rigs are very top heavy with the hammer and pile in the air. These rigs also need to close to level.

  • @highway445 huh?that doesn't make any sense.i work with drill rigs.we do piling and caisons.usually if piles are going into the ground they are driven with a crane and a vibratory, not a drill rig.maybe pre-drilled and then driven with the hammer by the crane.

  • @bern1417 It is called the continuous flight auger system (CFA) where a long auger with a hollow stem is drilled into the ground, Concrete is then pumped through the auger as it is withdrawn from the hole leaving the concrete in it's place. A reinforcing steel cage is then lowered into the concrete and vibrated down with a vibratory hammer if needed.

  • @tanishatania i'm aware of what it is,like i said i work with drill rigs.what does that have anything too do with what i said?

  • it's so boring!

  • so the guy just started the engine and started driving off?

  • my husband works on a production rig in huntinton beach.. and i have a bro inlaw who works on drilling rig...ruffnecks have a dangerous job i dnt care wat ppl think..they do

  • Alrighty. Next video, a dog sleeping. Stayed tuned for more action...

  • @LocalDogRescue cant wait

  • is this a john n puder/ moretrench rig ratoutfit lol fl

  • ni tos

  • sucks !

  • Isn't this Manhattan Beach CA. ????

  • @jeramieboo74 Huntington

  • Thanks for introducing me to a cool song!

  • Thats a Bauer RG rig with Vibrator and pre-drill...

  • @SP2333 That's what your mama said !

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

  • Comment removed

  • jakij ja TUPIJ!!!!

  • WTF, pictures is sooo 90's..... :)

  • @freddyah Honestly... it's like a Powerpoint.

  • The info said luckily the operator leaped from the driver. Safety would have dictated he was wearing a seatbelt. The cab looks o.k. Leaping could have been the worst. Unless the operator wasn't wearing his belt was thrown and when he wrote up his accident report he put down he was wearing it but he thought better he unbuckle and leap. Still a nono. Good old cheap immigrant labor. Si I run one in mexico. I run from one from cops and border patrols I run from everything. I run alot.

  • @krrrruptidsoless i find it unlikely that the operator would be required to wear a seat belt while operating the machine,

  • @macchesney

If it has a seatbelt osha requires you to wear one. That goes for forklifts etc. The weight of these can turn over so fast and predicting what will crush you that jumping out and getting out of the way is more dangerous. Get certified and see what you think you know. And if you notice the cab is fine.

  • @krrrruptidsoless not only OSHA but it's an ASME standard as well.

  • You have to. OSHA

  • nice slide show!

    lol vid FAILS!

  • It's one of the most dangerous jobs there is. Things DO break, and even if it doesn't roll over, the parts fly off at great velocity. Hard hats are a necessity and sometimes that is not enough.

  • gay

  • ground 1 pile driver 0

  • its a timelapse not laggy

  • really laggy video

  • it is a camera, set to take a photo every 2 minutes. you really thought the clouds could move that fast?

  • you got to be kidding me?

  • HB surf city usa

  • These are the easiest machines to fall as extremely top heavy, seems to me he had the boom to far forward at the top as he was travelling & when he stopped the weight took over pulling him forward.

  • @Dibby59 ..right on....just lower your boom when you move....or lower it half way......he learned the hard way....learning curve...lol

  • a rig doesnt just turn over on flat ground like that i dont care whose runing it somethin must have broke

  • No acttully i agree with dibby59 .. the derick is very top heavy because of the blocks, and the tongs, and they go down super fast, and back up super fast,(not like super speed, but you get my point.) and when they come back up it rocks the entire machine, and my guess of what caused the accident was he was sitting ontop of a large object, such as a rock

  • Look how easy it will be to change the oil now!

  • I hope you dont mean drill a oilwell,

  • thats a pile driver u dorks

  • Thats just the way i see it....whats the music ?

  • It's on credits dude :D Whores of Tijuana - Trip

  • well if use saw a big drill thingy fallover ud put it on youtube so shut the fuck up

  • @bvsgnova hahaha so true

  • ha ha ahahah but its a fake...

  • lmao where is canada it wont matter to you caus you obviously live under a rock lmao

  • man get another fkn hobby ay

  • Crap

  • the music is like what the ppl in france and germany think is rock.

  • LOL

  • Bad music

  • absolute shit video

  • Good to hear he's okay, but this video was absolutely pointless.

  • nice to know that no one died

  • Its a drill rig rigged up to do cfa piles. There very tippy and its apparent this guy made a hugh error. I've run these machines up in canada for about 5 years

  • where in canada bro?

  • at the start of the vid i had no idea wtf i was suppose to be watching

  • @jamariogoon I still don't.

  • @jamariogoon Me neither... After the 253.658.973rd repeat i understand what was happened...

  • correct term would be "boring rig" i think. and if you think that is bad, look up the Shand incident where a crane building a power plant fell over and landed on an occupied crew shack!

  • Same thing happened to my crew a few years ago with a Bauer BG 9: Dry silty soil, you could easily walk on it. But a meter beneath the surface there was one mud cavity left. We hit it while heading to our first pile, towered up with casing and auger, the track punched through and that was it. Fortunately the rotary drive fell on a bunch of old tyres and the tower itself came down just beside an occupied mobile toilet...

  • that's actually a telescopic leader rig called a Bauer RTG. Not sure which one this is, but they can drill and switch "heads" and vibrate pipe and sheet piles in, too. Judging by the pics of it laying on its side, that's CFA drilling. (deepdriller100 is right).

Hey Motors69, it's NOT a water well rig. Repeat: NOT a water well rig. Don't flame unless you know the facts.

  • you kiss your mom with that mouth

  • @darryldelay i kiss his mother with my mouth

  • I used to live in Huntington Beach but it was like one big high school clique. I decided to move on, grow up...

    plus Punk Rock is annoying

  • Pile Driver

  • oh crap man, that audio preview on the right is funny xD

  • as a piling rig driver myself i think its a good video and high lights not every one can drive them thank god thats not me trying explane that.

  • Is this a pile rig or a drill rig?

  • would need a better look at the mast but saying that it looks like a pile driver how ever i do note it has a 300 diameter CFA attached to the side of the mast most probable to pre drill for the pile to be driven into.another i noticed how at the start of the video the cat head was lifting as he was driving the hammer this should not have happened and if this was the case it most probably caused the acc as with the hammer there is no foot at the end of the mast to support it.

  • Its a Bauer pile driver with auger attached.. The TWEEKER at the controls is optional.

  • Typical MALCOLM DRILLING CO. METH INDUCED MISHAP......at least they didn't kill anyone THIS TIME. I f Malcolm Drilling shows up on your jobsite ............RUN LIKE HELL !

  • lol.

  • @niallluxie

So any insights in to what actually made this happen?

  • @snedie69er it is hard to say it looks like he tracked foward as he was drawing up the hammer and with the weight of the hammer rising so fast the foward motion would be enough to send it over, but its hard to say.that is the best ans i can come up with from watching it over and over again.regards niall

  • @niallluxie

Thanks for the response. I actually saw one of these drilling rigs a few days ago in my city, and when it was travelling forwards the dill does seem to sway forwards and backwards quite a lot.

As you said, if the hammer was in motion it would no doubt add to this affect and topple the whole rig.

  • HAHA, took my 10 seconds to know it's rubbish :D

  • Huntington Beach! YAAAAAY!!!

  • shit video

  • GAY

  • GOOD

  • I agree with you, its absolutely not funny, its fucking hillarious.

  • i don't even remember posting that. i must have been drunk.

  • LAWL FUNNY SHIT!!

  • 7 seconds is about the amount of time i give to a gay video of nothing happening if i don't seen some shit going dow in the first 10 im out

  • Wtf are you talking about ghostmonkeyrape?? You stayed, you watched 2 times and left a thoughtful comment on this stupid shit, ya dumb cracker. :P

  • Go to 0:30 and you will see it fall. Most peoples attention span is 7 secs I believe so yeah just go straight to 0:30 people.

  • WHATS THE NAME OF THIS SONG

  • Thug Life - TuPac

  • Some people are just sick.

    Or need attention.

    Or both.

  • wtf happened? was he retarted or something??loks like he took too sharp of a turn and fell on his side!

  • You can't even see what happens

  • I really dig the music on this...anybody have any info?

  • The Whores of Tijuana. read info first

  • errrr what?

  • What a name of this song?

  • Can you read at all?

  • The Whores of Tijuana.

  • Thats a Bauer RTG rig with a Vibrator, Actually its easy to do. Believe me ive been there......

  • god bless the world

  • fuck head i am a driller and its not fucking funny u try doing it fuckhead then see if u laugh loser

  • oh c'mon thats just wrong

  • i think i speak for all drillers out there when i say fuck off and u die!!

  • The filmer had the intelegence to set up his camera because he could sense that there was something wrong with the picture he was seeing. It was obviously too windy to operate that crain on that day

  • What the hell does wind have to do with a small pile driver? Yeah it's called a pile driver not a crane you moron.

  • Small pile driver... RTG25 is 80+ tons...

  • Its feed from a security camera you dolt, thats why it always lists the time and date in the corner, and is looking almost completely at a parking lot.

  • it wasnt laggy its cause its not a video its loads of pictures

  • well at least the operator is still around [cant garante hell be around for any more drillin] lol

  • "Luckily the operator was able to leap from the falling drill rig and no one was seriously injured"

Talk about 'luck' leaping from equipment when it tips is the worst thing you can do. The cabs are designed to keep the operator safe and leaping you take the risk of being crushed to death. Even equipment as little as warehouse forklifts can crush and kill a operator.

  • Agreed, the cab is not even damaged, pretty stupid move, jumping from the reinforced cab out into a wreck in progress.

I'd bet he did not jump,I bet he did not have the door closed,or the seatbelt on.

  • maybe he jumped because he didnt have time to close the door or pt not the seat belt? :0

  • Forget about jumping from the cab.... the whole accident could have been avoided if he hadn't crawled the rig with the boom fully extended like that. I don't know how they do things in Huntington Beach, but in New York City there would have been a crew working with him and that tip could have killed all of them. The operator clearly shouldn't be running a drill rig.

  • Ha! Ha! I think he tried to go down that incline you mention at 1.00 but he should have been towered down. You can get away with driving towered up on flat ground...but its still dangerous. If you go on an incline towered up, you are just asking fall over.

    Thanks for the analysis.

  • This is spooky. I live in Hong Kong, and one day I walking along throught the living room and there was a massive explosion from outside. Scared the shit out of me. Apparently, an enormous construction crane dropped one of its concrete balancing blocks down about twenty stories, blowing up a chemical truck. (no it's not BS).

  • **it happens...sometimes

  • its a pilling rig kruizinby. i have been working with one for the last 4 months in brisbane. no idea how he tipped, the ground looks flat enough. couple of million down the drain!!

  • look at sec. 1.0... you can see a slight incline. At my company we have to tower down even if we want to move a foot.

  • Yeah right thanks - not worked around those or seen one b4. Yeah it's weird how he went over but I bet he shiiiiit himself lol! Just seems strange that even walking the rig it was counter weighted, or seems like it wasn't.

    Thanks mate.

  • hm i never saw or heard about that.

  • wow i didnt even new that happened and i live right next to there

  • Something like this rig is very stable especially on flat ground! Looks like the driller tried to tram (walk) with the rear out rigger still in place!

I tell you he waon't be doing this again.

  • music is cool

  • Yah, the music is by a friend of mine's band called The Whores of Tijuana. The song is called Trip Manhattan.

  • IT fell into a rabbit hole & fell over!! So simple.

  • why did it fall over?

  • I think because they tried to move it while towered up.

  • well it looks like the drill hit some sort of gas pocket under the soil and that cause a sudden upward force followed by a huge vacuum so it sucked the rig back into the ground and so on its like having a super bounce ball attached to a rubber band.

  • and no i dont give a shit if that what really happened! but that is what i want to thinkhappened so thats the way it is :) please correct your records acordingly lmfao ;)

  • Only in HB lol... well, I've seen worse down in south county... HB is notable for North County though lol

  • I don't understand what's happen here...

  • the crane tipped over frontward right where the operator would be...

....this was just some amped up bullshit
