wait till a new release of Rivatuner. If you have a very modern GPU such as the GTX295 with the latest drivers, Rivatuner may not support it yet...

I'd figured that, when I made that comment I was a little bit (just a little) making fun of something a scientist would say. Because although it's true the human eye does refresh at 60fps, just like a game, that can sometimes change a little. Therefore if your eye's refresh rate changes (lol, that sounds funny) there will be more frames there to "make up" for that fact. :D

PS I tried this and there is no way it will work for me without a fan replacement, lol.

actually, if you have nvidia cards, you can overclock without voiding warranty, it's called ntune. It's made by nvidia. :)

LOL. Make sure your system doesn't explode due to overheating. Make sure you have sufficient cooling to keep your GPU below its rated max temperature.

I got an ATI Xpress 200 series vid card, and neither RivaTuner nor the ATITool seem to work with it. RivaTuner doesn't have the customize button available under driver settings, and when I open up ATITool it says there's no compatible card and almost all the buttons are grey'd out. for an AGP slot, it will need to be either 4x or 8x for a graphics card. for PCIe it will need to be 16x for a graphics card...
