Hope not , I was looking forward to seeing the old school knuckles , but oh well. I'm surprised like you guys , so many remixes of just 1 song and the game hasn't even been released yet , this game must be the living(digital) reincarnation of the old sonics. I can not wait any longer xDDD.

@zealotscout Sonic is without question the only playable character. How many times does Sega have to say it? As far as Episode 1 is concerned,Sonic is the only playable character in the game. But Tails and Knuckles will be available in Episode 2. So just sit tight and enjoy Episode 1 until then.

@zealotscout You see,Sega/Sonic Team is releasing the game in parts, rather then release the game as a hole. Each Episode can stand as a game alone. They refused to say how many Episodes there are, but each one(for better or worse) will add something new to the gameplay.

@Ninja07Keaton That totally makes sense , they may want to start off absolutely oldschool , then casually work their way up to the new elements in the sonic franchise( up until a certain point).

i wonder if sega decided to make this game rom the response super marip bros. wii was getting, since everyone wanted a up to date mario game with the same look to the old one's except with 3D characters and enimies, although many people were praying for a Sonic 4, for a while.

@MegaSmashman Most, if not all of the sonic platformer games (3d or not) have some kind of GHZ style zone, with and/or without a beach esque look. Some kind of rezort style zone. If it doesn't START with one, it includes some kind of GHZ style zone at some point in the game. awesome stuff.

Everyone thinks the big games like Red Dead Redemption are awesome. There's nothing wrong about that - but these games like MM10 and Sonic 4 are forgotten!

@dorkchop2007 That's how much hype there is around this game. Keep in mind that it has been 16 years since Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I just hope Sega doesn't screw it up this time.
