This is very simple: Republicans and conservatives have tried being Democrats and liberals, but it never works.

We need to go back to our roots. Let the GOP be the GOP. Be conservative and never fear.

In his Congressional bio, our own Rep. Mike Pence describes himself as "a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order."

So he's an excellent spokesman for that time-tested, winning message.
