he wrote it with Gordie Sampson. as far as chords its played in E major, with chords E,A,B, F#m,C#m and a lot of sus4s. Capo on the fourth fret. i.e: (E)hey(Bsus4)man,you (A)dont know what your'e (B)missing... (E)let it (A)go... hope that helps.
