Sharpie water-based poster paint markers, as well as some Copic markers. Try regular Sharpies. Just make sure your page is DRY...I killed a sparkly new pen the other day because I didn't wait...
oops, nevermind i watched again and saw the music credits. duh. hehe i finally realized that the key to one of those unique kira backgrounds are fingers in the paint. are you still putting on some sort of hand protector? i was reading that some of the pigments are quite toxic and can even lead to mental disturbances. in my case definitely too late to worry about that last one ; P take care, kira
I do use a hand barrier cream I picked up at Blick. Yes, there are certain pigments that can be bad...one of which is cobalt, one of my favorites. The type of cream I use is EZ Care Invisible Barrier. I even use it for post-tattoo moisturizing! It's all natural and good for you. ;) Please be safe! And I'd love to visit...if I ever visit TX!
kira, who did the fiirst song? very cool music and as always, groovy art =D hey i started what i call *art nite* at my house the last fri of every month and my daughter and a few friends come over with food and art supplies. we eat, drink wine and do art, work on journals and collaging. come join us one day. thanks for your inspiration and instruction. hope you are well. pixie in austin, tx

I still have trouble finding pens that will write on my pages. Can you tell me what you are using here?
