@raptor36100 It's odd to figure out musics by ear. I mean, when you can't you think "how this people know how to play by ear?" But then when you start to teach your ears, suddenly you just figure out how to play, like a natural feeling :)
Sorry, but the run in the chorus ruins this otherwise great cover for me. The version being in major, the chorus (and the main riff) must be in minor (I would go as far as saying that's what makes the song so popular). It does not sound that bad when the riff goes up, as when it goes down - typical with minor). Otherwise great job!
@SDCParrot There is an acoustic piano on satisfaction that you cant here on the record but you can on the cd listen to satisfaction by blue cheer and paul revere and the raiders for a few laughs
I love your playing but here, the riff is wrong. You're playing E-F#-G#-A. I've got the sheet of this song and it's E-F#-G-A. Slighty different but that sounds better that way. Nice cover though.
@MrNorbi14@infusion26 According to me, I have a balance use between pick and fingers. However, it mostly depend on the song (if the bassist played with pick or not).
... and @AFreezerKx So Paul McCartney is a noob by using a pick?
@preacherman711 she was originally a jazz guitar player switching off on bass these boots are made for walking[ frank sinatra told lee hazelwood the song about the boots is the hit frank sinatra owned reprise records thats why dj william b williams called him the chairman of the board]
@spacepatrolman i know her history, i kinda share it being a former jazz guitarist myself. I started playing bass a while back and loved it. i just think the pick no pick debate is pointless i'm just as comfortable playing either way depending on the style required. I just think that most people dont realize how many of their favorite bass lines were actually played with a pick
I love your technique, and thanks for your video, it saved me alot of time, I play bass and sing lead so now I got to learn the lyrics, last week we learn paint it black, as a 3 piece band its hard to pull off but it sounds great, we are olny doing 2 rolling stones covers and this will be the second one. and like i said, thanks very much!
@thibagon Sorry but I don't use tabs. You'll feel much better about yourself if you figure it out on your own than if you use tabs (which may be wrong anyway) Just try listening to it and you'll figure it out This allows you to get more enjoyment from making music.
you post the tab please? :D

Why don't you use picks?
MrNorbi14 6 months ago

@TeamMastaPr2 bass players that use a pick usually started on a guitar like mcartney and mel shacter from grand funk

@spacepatrolman What about Bill Wyman and John Deacon (though he used his fingers most of his time, many songs also were "picked")?
