  • وفسقانين

  • والله يا هم فاضين

  • Skynet

  • after this, can you lend me one of them? :)

  • O vídeo acaba na melhor parte... :(

  • Jejku, jejku. Połączyli kilkanaście monitorów, zużyli do tego 100 km kabla i świat sra z zachwytu

  • bf3 please

  • dont you just love gizmodo

  • y cancer hasnt been cured yet ...

  • I'd love to play a game on this as an Eyefinity setup.

  • PORN!?

  • Nice!

  • Hey baby! Look at all the resources >>I<< have. My crew buys monitors by the *dozen*. Yeah!

A-hem. This is ECAXTLY the nightmare scenario Baurillard described in which an empire builds a map of the kingdom so big it is the size of the kingdom itself.

But who gives a carp? Next year, we'll cover all the walls and ceiling with screens too! As long as the 99% can tell by the number of screens who has the most money and resources, they will know who to obey.

  • Супер классно! Гугл рулит!

  • Anyone else notice how the music in this video resembles the opening theme of the old 1991 Microprose computer game 'Civiliztion"?

    watch v=CLeA3M7Z2CA

  • @acemcjack what's the name of the song in THIS video?

  • Sympa

  • Sympa ;)

  • Any one know what kind of display it is?

  • @agtheking Planar

  • Nice, using Ubuntu XD

  • Wouldn't it be easier to do it with a projector?

  • @warrio5 Probably not. Projecting on the floor in that space while trying to match that resolution and brightness would be pretty difficult. Setting up a video wall on the floor looks easier than hanging it on a wall.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes the lines or bezel from the monitors sucks, and it would have been easier to use one projector, but each monitor is producing the resolution of one projector, so with this many monitors you get a much higher pixel density.

  • @Roq999 I doubt they use 8K screens.

  • Lol Ubuntu FTW!!!

  • Yeah, but no projector has 99,532,800 pixels like 48 1080p monitors do

  • @cuhlik maybe you should have used an @ reply

  • Lines inbetween the screens look terrible

  • I think it would have been easier to just use a projector

  • @cjones323 In terms of resolution and overall satisfaction, NOPE.

  • @cjones323 but where's the fun in that?

  • @cjones323 resolution would suck.

  • @cjones323 There is no fun with a projector ;)

  • @cjones323 if they will used a projector, is that would have been so interesting?

  • @cjones323 Projectors only zoom an image. There's a tradeoff between detail and zoom. The resolution remains the same. You need a much higher resolution display like this one to be able to see all the context as well as the details.

  • @nirnimesh Modern day HD & Super HD projectors are just as capable of producing the above installation.

  • @alanseventhheaven Nope. The highest resolution projector is 4096x3112. This setup looks to be 11520x8640. Nearly 3x a 4k projector.

  • @nirnimesh What about a really high res projector? XD

  • @TheRinzl3r Even the highest resolution projector would only be 1/3 the resolution of this.

  • @cjones323 A projector wouldn't have been nearly bright enough. Even a theater-strength projector would need a darkened room for full effect, while the superbright LCD monitors used here can be used anywhere..

  • @SuperMariusMaximus There is also the matter of resolution: Even a high-definition projector could only display 1920x1080 pixels, and at that size the picture would be very grainy. The monitors in combination have a resolution far beyond that, making for a much more detailed image.

  • @cjones323 No it would not be easier. It would be far more difficult and expensive to get anywhere near the brightness and resolution of these LCD panels.

  • @cjones323 Actually, a Projector would not give them the total resolution they require for a detailed image to be viewed up close. Looking at a projector image that close would make a very Hi-res image still look pixelated

  • I have to poop.

  • Love it and it's running Ubuntu

  • Amazing
