He knocked out guys that big in his career...Tyson could close at ridiculous speed and was relentless once he got inside..not to mention the fact that once in there he could throw a seeming endless string of combinations of powerful punches from every angle. That speed was his only answer to the usually taller fighters in the heavy weight division, and it was a good one until he lost it.

Tyson would have had them both for breakfast...literally and figuratively. He knocked out guys that big in his career...Tyson could close at ridiculous speed and was relentless once he got inside..not to mention the fact that once in there he could throw a seeming endless string of combinations of powerful punches from every angle. That speed was his only answer to the usually taller fighters in the heavy weight division, and it was a good one until he lost it.

There is no denying the effectiveness of their style..it might not be a typical Heavyweight style, but it gets the job done..quick hands? certainly..you can't live off the jab without quick hands..all your points are more than valid..and yet having grown up watching Tyson, I still have to say that they have never faced an opponent with such devastating speed and power.

The Lewis fight was stopped after 6 rounds. What would have happened if it had gone on?
