He's an NFL style quarterback. A&M has only had an NFL style offense for this last season, during which McGee suffered injury. He didn't play a whole lot due to this, and also because Sherman was trying to get Johnson some experience.

The scouts have been impressed with him ever since the shrine game.

McGee is a great QB who was masked by the terrible Dennis Franchione offensive system. Many draft scouts have predicted him to go as early as the 3rd round. I've read many reviews saying he could be starting in the NFL within a few years.

if you were to define dominant it would be,,,, controlling over ALL OTHERS were the dominant football program because teams like OU and TTU they cant go to bowl games and play other teams like they would in the BIG 12. They go and play like there a couple of kids. Were the dominant football program of the Big 12 because we play teams like USC, Michigan (when they were a powerhouse), ohio state and we WIN!! As an Aggie, I agree with you. Fran destroyed McGee's QB career. He wasn't what he was supposed to be, and I feel bad for the guy. However, I don't think you should ever count someone out. That's just rude. Romo went undrafted, and Brady wasn't drafted till #199. They're now stars.

McGee was apparently really good at the combine, so who knows what will happen. And maybe all that option can make him a great WR. I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see.
