@AwsomeDudeReviews so all I see you is that db copys a lot of movie because the same thins (love interest, good vs evil, and action scenes happens in the show too. If you took out dbe characters changed the names this would be considered a dbe rip off. Its a good thing that is not case. Also you thinking that the acting is clearly your opinion and a lot of people disagree with you. This a good adaption and even better movie.

@IcecoldSaiyan88 Really? "Bad movie watcher"? The movie had bad dialog, acting, and writing. Not to mention the badly thought out plot points because of the terrible pacing. Goku's actor has no idea what he's doing, Chi Chi's actress is bland and tiered, Bulma's actress is being too earnest about it, and Yamcha's actor is bad in every aspect of the word "acting". The movie sucked.

Whoa, I didn't see this coming? I'll admit I haven't read the manga yet, but I did watch Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z the shows religiously as a kid. I personally hated this film, at least when I first watched it. Just from this I may give it another viewing less critically and maybe I'll enjoy it more. Heck I was able to enjoy Batman & Robin as a fun over the top campy film. Interesting comparison to Big Trouble in Little China. I'm personally hoping for a reboot though.

Well 1 this is still a better movie then both Transformers. But This doesn't relaly represent my opinion. I relised later that my liking of the film was because myfriends and i riffed the whole film. It actualy sucks. But it's still better then Transformers (which isn't saying much at all)

As bad as this movie might be, it'll be nowhere as bad as the Youngblood movie directed by Bret Ratner. It's not that it'll be because it will be a bad adaptation, but like in the vein of Twilight. That is, the source material is bad. It will be so bad, it cause the apocalypse, which means that 2012 will be a perfect release date since it's still in development.

2. Good guy vs. bad guy is in every action movie.

3. Love interests are in most action movies.

4. A master training a student is in most action movies.

If you replaced the characters names with other names, you would never compare this to Dragonball. It's a bad adaptation.

Not really. I said "I'd watch it again". Which was teh entire stance of this review. It's a horrible adaptation. but I'd watch it again because it was enjoyable.

Tho mayb eI enjoyed it because we sat there making fun of it the whole time. Perhaps when it comes out and I watch it on DVd I won't like it without our running comantary track.

Also you have to understand these are at opisit ends. With Brando I'm watching a preformance evryone tells me how amazing it is. With Dragonball everyone says Goku is the worst acting they've ever seen. So my expectations with these two are completley diffrent.
