Which do you think has a more usable back seat? Don't know which one has a better back seat. You do know the Sonata SE turbo is out and it has 274 horses and over 260 tourque for 24,000.

@rodtorre7 I just built a v6 Mustang premuim with leather seats, shaker system, remote start, hood scoop, and window louvers but no navigation or sunroof and still a little over 28,000. I also built a Camao LT with boston acoustics 9 speaker system, sunroof and remote start and it came out 27,000 but no leather seats. It would be almost 450 a month to finance 60 months and with abouth 4,000 down which is kind of too high.

But Hyundai is competing with Buick now, and KIA competes with Honda and Toyota. They want to do to VW, Buick Chrysler what they hav been doing to Toyota for years, but this time on the Luxury front=provide very good near Luxury content, but at a much lower price.

The US Sonata has 201 HP thats 3 less than the Lexus IS 250 yet with 9 more MPG!!! The Sonata is a 4 banger, and the Lexus is a Fucking V6.

No, Hyundai hasnt caught up they exceed the Japanese now.

US Models get the same goodies as the Koreans get, but for less. Yeah they charge their own people more for a car than foriegners.

However, those costs get passed on to us Americans as savings.

it's just expeensive in asia because lack of space and the majority doesn't need a car.. because their public transit is very reliable.. unlike in north america.. because our infrastructure promotes and encourages the car industry (ford and GM) and how everything is so spaced out and we're just lazy. haha.

IM still not satisfied with hyundai..i see where they are heading but still not enough.. because they make their car rims too small.i just wished they made their rims bigger..you see all the european cars . the fenders of the wheel? it looks as if the fenders wrap around the wheel and the wheel is big at the same time. for example a gold GTI has WIDE hot wheels looking rims and the fenders wrap aorund it. thats what i like bout GTI.only if this kinda aesthetics will come to hyundai..why?

I love this car. I'm really tempted to say that it looks better than the genesis sedan. This one is much more contemporary!

I have always been an "under-dog" fan, Hyundai has always been that in my opinion. In '00 we purchased an Elantra and it was great, it never failed us. I am very happy to see that Hyundai has come this far and it's setting it's sights on Accord and Camry. If I were Honda and Toyota I would be very, very worried.
