A big 'Thank you' for posting these talks by Simon Shaffer. I hadn't heard of him before, but the ground he covers and the huge fund of scientific and historical knowledge he draws on, is truly amazing. I'd like to come to Cambridge and sit at his feet for a few years. A fascinating man and historian of science whose enthusiasm for his subject is engaging.
