Because you explained the attack/defense control system better than the rest. And pulled back to show the isometric/top-down camera view i was looking for. I enjoyed the first Witcher's unique, somewhat turn-based combat style, and liked the 3 choices of camera views they allowed.

@MrMidnightOrgasm You can't create your character, you play as Geralt, who will be the same no matter what, but depending on your actions in the Witcher 1 his past will be different depending on the choices made in the first game, so will the reaction of the NPCs differ.
As for customization, it's basically the equipment and trophies, no appearance customization at all. But the game tells the story of a pre existing character, and not an avatar representing the player, such as Shepard from ME.
@mikemmx How the spell system works, is that you can assign your "sign" or "element" to the Q button, and you can switch between signs easily and effectively using an in game menu (that i did not know of during the making of this) the menu puts the game in slow mo, does not take you out of the action and is very easy and fun to use.
I know that's a horrible explanation, but it works wonderfully.
