@slclys WTF Taekwondo you mean - WTF Taekwondo is more of a sport. Though few people really read into that. The ITF form is alot more combatative in its sparring. There are, for example, punches to the head. In fact, more punches are used than kicks.

I could go on for a while, but do your own research if you like.

Just believe one thing: Its alot more technical than it looks. The techniques are just different to most other styles, and thusly look a bit strange at first.

That allows you not only to be faster, it also makes you more unpredictable. In an actual fight, of course you have a different fight stance.
