It is her actually. Cynthia Rhodes. She was actually in a band for awhile in the 80's (if I'm not mistaken) called Animotion. She replaced their first lead singer and they had one hit with her called "Room To Move" from the soundtrack of "My Stepmother is an Alien" with Dan Akroyd and Kim Bassinger.
