@FlyerFier Oh dear, you seem to have fallen upon deaf ears with your useless and pointless comment. Do try again another time when you've something a) true and b) coherent to say :)
i have the eau de toilette well my mom does and i asked if i could have her body oil perfume in the same scent... and it smells like extra virgin olive oil and a little hint of the ssent... but the eau de toillete is sooooo much betta luv it
@ForeverPink67 That's so strange how it smells so different - and so disappointing! Thanks for letting me know, I might've wanted to get the oil, but I won't now ;)
Thank you for posting your review! While I do find the scent of PG to be clean & fresh, I'd tried a "tester" at Sephora & seem to be allergic to the fragrance as I'm very allergic to a lot of fragrances and chemicals, in general ;) It's not uncommon for me to not be able to tolerate fragrance. I also agree that one shouldn't have to layer on various products and the staying power is not too long. On a different note, please be careful about inhaling fragrance too much or other chemicals :)
@Jannsmith - I should've added that a light, fresh vanilla scent from Victoria's Secret called Vanilla Lace is quite tolerable for me :) Some people have actually commented that it smells a bit like chocolate ;)
@Jannsmith You're welcome! That sucks about you being allergic - especially as the fragrance itself is so innocuous! Haha, thanks for the advice - I don't make a habit of huffing perfume on a regular basis, but this one just gets everywhere for some reason :/ I hold my breath when I spray it now!
you should try calvin klein's escape, if you haven't already that is! i think you woild like it, after seeing the perfumes you like, we have similar taste in perfumes! xxx
@waln492 Eau de toilette is not as strong as eau de parfum, so you can be a bit more liberal with how much you put on. You can either layer it (spray some, wait and spray some more) so it lasts longer, or mist some into the air and walk into it, so you have a light misting :)
I love this fragrance after it has settled! Only bad thing is that I find it doesnt last as long as other perfumes in my collection. Keep an eye on the qvc shows (which dont really help with the whole "philosophy are smug" theme) I got a great deal on there - massive bottle of perfume, body wash body scrub and a body butter for around £50 x (have you tried their skincare? - i felt their cleansers are ok but the rest a bit overrated)
@theresabmcintyre Ooh, that sounds like a good deal. I've never tried their skincare but I heard their Purity Made Simple cleanser was supposed to be awesome... But then I have trouble spending that much money when I could buy something I know is good, like Dermalogica.
I promise you will love it - cheap compared to other brands in its class and fantastic on all skin types. If you find using the hot muslin cloths a bit of a faff (as I do) I find taking it off with a baby wipe does the same thing. look forward to hearing your verdict x
I love their amazing grace and falling in love. But since these became so popular, that same bottle at $35 become $50! As for their staying power...not there at all unless like you said, you must layer. Thanks for the review...
@deewaipio You're welcome. Philosophy is one of those brands for me which is a bit of a let down. I need to check out Amazing Grace and Baby Grace, though. They sound like they'd be nice enough that I can get past how short a time they last on my skin.
I'm sorry. YOU called something pretentious?? Scabby pot, meet kettle.

@raspberrypineapple Haha - well I certainly didn't in this video :) Normally it's not too bad for acne though, so I can't complain :)

@waln492 eau de toilette is much lighter than an eau de parfum . i just spray it on my clothes, neck & wrists.. about 3-4 sprays. it's not too much

I pick, too. But just think of the pimples as little spots that make the rest of you look prettier. :-D
