Great song, first single from the bands great album "Staring at the sun" from 1988. The drummer Phil Gould and Boon Gold where replaced by Gary Husband and Alan Murphy. Husband i a good drummer too.
Best concert I ever attended in 1990 at Hammersmith in London, not long after Alan died. Alan Holdsworth played with them and they had every body in the house dancing. Awesome band RIP Alan Murphy
The Video is kinda sad really, cos Alan Murphy, the Guitarist in this, died of aids not too long after this Video was recorded. I'm not surprised to see him sitting down in the Vid and its kinda sad to think that he was very sick back then. Mind you Freddie Mercury did the same thing in 1991, so it shows what a trooper Murphy was, kept going til the last.
What a rush!!!!!!!! What a song!!! I had not heard this in a while! So glad to be born in 1961 and was old enough to appreciate the great music of the 70's and 80's...
BTW:
The answer to Life the Universe and everything else...(Level) 42
Great high energy song, and it sure is funny to see Level 42 turned into a bunch of bayou rats for four minutes. Looks like they spent a really long weekend with John Cougar Mellencamp.
Speaking of illnesses... I know that the guitarist Alan died of AIDS shortly after touring for this album wrapped. A shame. He was suppost to be one of the best session guitarists of the 80's as well.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this song, and there are some DAMN GOOD songs that came up after Boon and Phil left, but overall, the band wasn't the same.
Well of course they weren't going to be the same - Gary, Alan, Jakko etc. brought different things to the table than Phil and Boon.
Okay, some people prefer the earlier Level 42 stuff but I don't think you can say that they ever did a truly bad song.
Bands evolve differently and sometimes changes are neccessary - Boon couldn't have stayed as he was ill and Phil and Mark disagreed on the way the music was progressing. What was important was that Level 42 continued to make music.

Always loved this song. Funky and rocky, a good mix.
Those dancers fit the song title...
