@AmericanGayAtheist Sam Kinison was a comedian, and a damn good one. If you take offense to his jokes, don't watch him, it's that simple. I personally found his act hilarious, along with my parents. Sam makes jokes about how relationships are hell, but they don't take offense, so calm down. He wouldn't get away with his act today because people are more self-concious today. Compare cartoons today to the cartoons of the past. It's the same concept.

Oh my god, hah.. wow.. I saw this when I was probably like 12 years old, I think my dad put it on or something. But that whole licking pussy thing stuck in the back of my head, and probably three years later when I was 15, first actually did go down on a girl, and I remember licking the alphabet... Man...Sam was the man. Put it to ya this way, two weeks after Sam passed away, George Carlin dedicated "Jammin' In New York" arguably his best work, to Sam. Carlin, a genius in his own damn right, pays tribute to Sam. That's a one of a kind moment. Both of you comedy gods are sorely missed in this world.

I remember having read that he'd been a preacher before he went into standup. In the article he'd said he quit when "he got too hip for the room". But I don't think he ever stopped believing. Even when he makes fun of JC coming back from the dead, he's never outright blasphemous. He never says Jesus isn't the Lord, he never repudiates Christianity itself. One can make fun of sex--and sects!--without refuting Jesus as Lord. I think he died a believer.
