i did something similar. but i put 3 tiny wings on my bbq sticks. i just sawed a notch into one end of a piece of wood, stuck a one end of a rubber band ( tied two together)into it and pulled the other end back ontop with the bbq stick. they go 60 yards/180ft and in a straight line. one step is close to a yard.

i sort of did the same thing. i jus didn't attach the second pt of the 2 pencils connected. and i attached a ammo "holder" (paper under pencils with extra pencils in the paper) and put 1 of my pencils in an alcoholic beverage and put a lighter in front of the "cross"bow and shot the pencil

here's a better idea take 7cheap pencils tape two together and the other two as well and tape them together like this north to south and one east to west then take two remaining pencils and in diagonal tape them to left and rite now take a grip tape it up take a cloth hanger or cllipers band it tightly to the pencil down take another 2 more bandband put one in rigth and one in left take another pencil small put it through the grip to the clippers put the band behind it realese clipper done
