  • Have any Tiber feed necks for sale, also will it fit on a tm-15. If you have any knowledge of this please comment or message thank you

  • whats the barrel threading?

  • @zboy0112 yes he said that in the vid

  • Could you use regular spherical paintballs with the t9?

  • @Zboy0112 you mean 68 cals?

  • @Zboy0112 you have to change the mag to swap from FS (first strike) and Normal .68 paint balls.

  • ok they cost more but you shoot alot less because you choose your shots and its not a full auto

  • @bozos1000

you deff dont spend more for the gun its what maybe 400 and change for the t9.1 depending on the set up you get it in thats right around the amount for a good sold marker speedball your looking even more money for the markers id rather spend 400 then 200 then add on 500 more $ on the shit to make it good and on top of that your spending less on paint its just an all around better dicision for people not wanting to spend to much to play

  • Can you use this gun as an pistol ?

  • ps these are made for less lethal protection, they were never meant for paintball :-\ this is why they are so expensive..

so you'll pay roughly $1200 for 2000 first strike, and $60 for 2000

going by the deal 100 first strike for $60 :-\

  • @Me102288 $1200.00 for 2000 pbs?

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0 yep, there "deal" here is $60 for 100 first strike..

thats equal (here) to 2000 of the most expensive painballs available :-\

thats sad for a paintball with a plastic skirt glued onto it dont ya think?

and they dont work for 99.99% of the paintball guns?

like I said they're for less lethal defense, not the game paintball :-(

  • @Me102288 most people use the FS rounds where i go. and to use them in a normal markers you almost have to basicly shove the thing down the barrel XD

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0 The only reason they exist is for less lethel defense. Same with the water filled balls, and pepperball's (look it up) are all meant for personal defense.

they were never made fair the game paintball.

  • @Me102288 where i live, we use them all the time and all the feild alow us to use them.

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0 hah, just heard back from a frien, he's machining rifled barrels for .68cal paintball.. turns out it takes a different kinda rifling to get these damn things to spin.. Kinda.. like the apex system BT had.. but integral to the barrel.. sweet, try em out this summer

  • I wonder if first strike rounds are proprietary.. like can other companies make them or is it only Tiberius?

  • [Skip This Ad Forever]

  • if 50 people dont like this video what is wrong with

  • should i get the Tiberius Arms t9.1 ranger or the bt delta elite

  • @KillerMonkey27 dude if you are even asking that question something is wrong... get the t9, it's one of the best guns on the market. Delta elite is garbage, but if you'll put quality behind you just to get full auto fire rate then really it's your choice in the end. SRSLY though I used to have a Bt-4 ERC with board upgrade, red dot, 20" barrel, bipod, the works. I'm now running a t8 (not even the 8.1) with the MP7 shroud and some other really cools stuff. T8 is waaaaaaaaaay better!!!!!!

  • @ddevilxdude t9 will get you dead in a paintball game, I've watched them, guy counts 8 rounds, rush's him while he's reloading.

I'm not saying its a bad gun, for a secondary I'd carry one, but I carry over 1000 rounds, so, using a t9 as a primary in game is just stupid when everyone else can put over 200 balls on you without reloading..

  • @KillerMonkey27 t9.1, especially if you want to shoot first strike rounds

  • Pod Bitch

  • Hey Mike, would you recommended the Ranger for a first time buyer or would you say you say to chose something like the dp G4? For a mid-range player who normally plays woodsball?

    Thanks

  • Hey Mike, would you recommended the Ranger for a first time buyer or would you say you say to chose something like the dp G4? For a mid-range player who normally plays woodsball? And could you do a vid on how to put a remote-line on the Ranger?

    Thanks

  • Hey Mike, would you recommended the Ranger for a first time buyer or would you say you say to chose something like the dp G4? For a mid-range player who normally plays woodsball?

    Thanks

  • If it's fake, then what are the silencer for?

  • @Goldeberg94 barrel extension, gives more length = more accuracy

  • @Goldeberg94 looks

  • @Goldeberg94 looks, it just adds weight, which why i bought the ranger package, the elite has $150 more paper weights

  • @Goldeberg94 silencers dont work on anythong that doesnt break the speed of sound.

if they say it works on anything under that they're full of shit..

the princible of a silencer will never work with paintball

  • I cant wait to see someone use it on are field. If they even let them play with it.

  • why would u use first strike rounds to chrono the gun, use regular paintballs?

  • @apieceomeat they shoot 20-30 fps higher than normal paintballs, if you chrono premiums at 290 then you switch to first strike rounds for the game, your liable to break someones mask

  • @Robot0Ninja thats neat, my tippmann a5 shoots more like 350 fps.. only mod I got is techt squishy paddles

  • @Me102288 and my jt shoots 400 fps. what he meant is that without changing the pressure you will get an increase of somewhere around 30 fps when you change between regular paintballs and first strike rounds, so you need to chrono with which ever you are going to use in game

  • t9 without first strike or sp1

  • @bababooey2700 do you mean the GOG G1 or Smart Parts SP1? i would go with the G1

  • @apieceomeat g1

  • @apieceomeat the g1 and the t9 are equally nice. look at some reviews on the t9 and g1

  • @bababooey2700 blackheart or non?

    sp1if blackheart

    get a t9.1 if your getting a t9

  • @TAPMpaintball really? im not really a fan of shooting fast in woods and dont really like giant hoppers sticking out

  • @bababooey2700 than t9

  • Thank you mike! No idea what i was doing wrong but following along with the video helped me fix my t9 somwhow! YAY!

  • can you use first strike rounds with an apex barrel?

  • @TheCaveman101 no, the apex is designed to put spin on a circular paintball. the first strike is a more bullet shaped and has curved fins sits already spinning. using an apex on the first strike would put a second spin on the ball making the paintball look like a football thrown by someone whos never even seen a football before, making the first strike round a POS. I don't even know why you would try in the first place since the FS rounds have a 500 ft range anyway

  • whats the diferent of a tiberius t9 st and tiberius ft if some bady can tell me please tanks

  • @bgrv nothign really, ft is just longer and is mroe "sniper" looking, st costs more for it's accessories and has a shorter barrel.

  • @bgrv st stands for "standard" and FS stands for "First Strike", meaning out of the box it can shoot first strike, whereas the ST you need a conversion kit

  • I really want to buy a T9.1 from ANS gear and want to know if it comes first strike ready

  • @McJordan79 all the ".1s" come first strike ready

  • how do you pull the spring down so easy on the mags i just got mine and the spring creates friction on the metal and makes it almost impossible to pull down with ur thumb

  • hey whats better the tiberius arms t9.1 ranger or the g1(smart parts sp1)

  • @MrKingjomz t9 fosho, it amazing and i love it! way more customizable

  • what remote lines can you use with this gun

  • @2010paintballer22 with the t9s you have to get one with a quick release, the 9.1s you can use a quick release or asa fitting

  • I have a fried who let me barrow his

  • I've found that the t9.1 doesn't chop paint from mags, but with an electronic hopper I can get up to 9 balls a second with no chops. I prefer to use mags because you can get hight fire rates with no chops. The only problem is the mags don't last long, but hey, they just came out with a 14 round mag extender.

  • I own a t9 and thinking about buying the first strike kit.

The only concern i have is the situation that it has when ejecting mags, it always has about 2 paintballs that don't release with the mag. One in the chamber, one just pops out.

Here's where I'm getting at: If i wanted to switch from first strike to hopper fed with the twist of the barrel, would it bust my first strike round left in the chamber?

  • @Caulder93 easy fix, shoot all the rounds before you eject the mag. and no, all it does is rotate the barrel, your first strike round will be safe :)

  • please reply back tchpb...... ok if u are willing to sell just the pistol without the attachments how much would u sell it to me

  • my friend has a t9 and has been having serious chopping issues we believe its do too his gravity hopper but we are not positive and on know or have any ideas ?

  • @soksume

the guns not designed for fast fireing, and is he using bad paint? and what is he chrono'd at?

  • @Spetsnaz0o1 it was custom draxxus paint and i believe he was chrono'd at 290 he isnt trying to achieve a crazy fire rate but anymore than 5 balls a second chops

  • @clayton814 im soksume on the friends computer

  • @clayton814 im soksume on the friends computer

  • @soksume try using the mags, if it continues to chop take the gun apart and clean it

  • you have such good reviews! thanks :)

  • Could you use this as your main marker?

  • hey Mike , u love ur remote dont u ;-)

  • The sickest thing is regular paintballs can barely reach 300 feet, if you get a hit and break at that distance your in gods grace, but the first strike rounds can easily hit and break at 400, and will break pretty often at 500 feet!! it's more like 300 feet more range because being a damn good long baller my range is 200-250 where i'll get you out most the time, but the first strike is insane!!!!

  • next year at ll4 im going to have a t9.1 with FS. im going to have some fun > : )

  • 500 feet is insane. thats half a kilometer CRAZY. (i can do math!)

  • @Albon2 Half a kilometre is 500 metres, which is over 1000 feet

  • @PureR3demt1on woops i now relize the huge mistake i have made, lol thats funny.

  • @Albon2 Thts ok i just realized how much of a dick i just sounded like. i was trying to be helpful my bad

  • For people fighting over pricing, think about it, If your using this ammo, then you definitly arent playing speedball, unless youre like me and run around the XBall field with a pistol. But the thing is, youre like 500X more accurate and have like triple the distance. SO wouldnt that mean youre gonna be hitting your target with exponential accuracy. therefore Since you are hitting people with more accuracy, you can just run around and one shot people= less paint use= saving money.

  • Is someone mowing their lawn at night by your house

  • i took that thing apart and got itack togeather so if you need help i am your man

  • Just got a T9.1 Ranger, in the manual it says to use a different magazine spring for first strike rounds. I quote "The silver spring is designed for use with traditional .68 cal paintballs. While the red spring can be used with traditional .68 cal paintballs, its higher tension increases the risk of the paintballs deforming over time." Has anyone you know tested this?

  • Hey mike I have the first strike clip and a normal one do they work the same

  • it's based after a shotgun slug

  • Is this a good gun even if i don't plan on buying first strike rounds? How does it compare to all the tippmanns and other scenario/milsim guns as far as normal paintballs?

  • its good there gonna start selling the t9.1 and they come fs ready

  • They do not compare in the terms of rapid firing. My T9 tends to become a blender if I put a force feed hopper on it. I installed an extra trigger (2 total) spring to make it harder to rapid fire.

  • is that all i have to maintane on the gun besides the mag? how often should i clean and lubricate this gun?

  • hey i was wondering, what do you think about the scope that came with the T9? i saw that you replaced your stock scope with that ACOG. why? its it a bad scope? too much zoom? was it sturdy? could it take a direct lens hit from a paintball?

  • Wow nice, any idea what the videos named? He has like 500.

  • do i get guns for free?

  • Where does mike get all this stuff from?

Do the companies just give him the stuff for free to do reviews?

Or is he like uber rich?

  • @Koroush51

I buy them, review them, then sell them

  • @paintballtechpb sweet maybe in the future i'll buy one from you when i can afford to resume my passion for being on the field & playing with my fellow peer's.

  • @paintballtechpb also how much doe's the gun on the right cost xD i love it.i'm guessing $500+

  • Comment removed

  • In addition to the 12gram and the remote line adapter for the magazine, there is also a tank adapter for a Tiberius magazine. I was looking on ANS gear the other day and came across it on the tiberius accessories page. You should do a review on it :) btw great vid

    I'm saving up for a t9

  • and do t8 mags work for this because i can find extra t8 mags everywhee but no extra t9 mags

  • @mikeysean7

T8 and T9 mags are the same. T8 mags made for FS will work in a T9.

  • srry if this is a dumb question but where can i actually buy one of these i went to the tiberius arms website and it just shows me the gun nothing tells me where i can buy

  • since most fields make you use their paint wont that mean you cant use the first strike rounds on the fields

  • @fisheye300

i dont think so Lol Sc village or jungle island let you use your paint :D but then again i dont know where you live or what fields you go to

  • unless the field sells the first strike rounds

  • This wont work for a tpx will it?

  • nope

  • should i buy the t9 or just get a t8 pistol? what is the difference besides the fact that the t9 is also a rifle. can i use a remote line and hopper feed on the t8? someone who knows what they are talking about plzz reply thnx.

  • @iHACKiMACS

dont get thetac8 get the t8.1 pistol :D same price as tac8

  • hey i couldnt watch the entire show so what threads does the t9 accept or can you only use the barrel on it because that gun should be sick with a long barrel

  • no its like cut on the bottom to accept the rounds from the mag kinda like the tpx barrels

  • so you cant unscrew and replace the barrel even if your using regular paintballs?

  • yup

  • would this be a good gun to play woodsball with

  • yeah, perfect tiberius has different models of this gun and they are built for woodsball.

  • lol its made for woodsball. the rounds are made to go extremely far and accurate where you mainly see people in the woods

  • Comment removed

  • hey quick question, did you get around the same FPS when using the first strike rounds and normal paintballs? or was there a dramtic difference? its kinda difficult to read the chronograph

  • from what I saw, it looked like a 10-20 FPS difference

  • tell me the difference between the first strike upgrade kit & conversion kit.

  • What's "Maintence"

I noticed that the velocity was a lot lower with regular paintballs than with FS rounds. Is there any way to fix that?

  • the aerodynamics of the FS rounds are much better compared to a regular paintball. if you going to be shooting the FS rounds you should rechrono your gun. plus the skirt makes the round spin making the round faster while also stabilizing the round. its kinda like a musket compared to a rifle

  • i love the move the barrel concept. u can literally snipe with FS rounds, then if they catch up to u and u need to let out more shots, just twist the barrel and u've got tht whole hopper just for them!

  • if your using FS rounds in a reg. barrel would the accuracy be alot less or not really noticeable?

  • Comment removed

  • @XDAN4ORTHX

of course is not a real ACOG

  • It look's prettyy damn real to me even though it's not.

  • thanks for that i was cleaning one of these and i put the bolt all the way back for the sear

  • Hey Mike love tech pb. Its the best!

Ive been thinking about getting a T9 ever since the first strike round launched but was iffy on compatibility of normal .68 and first strike on the same platform but you just about have me sold on one!

One question i have is it possible to change over from hopper fed .68 to mag fed first strike without removing the loader and paint.

Basically while loaded will the barrel twist to mag fed without chopping paint? Curious for in-game conversion to marksman.

  • so, basically... it's like an automag in pistol form?

  • I'm just a little confused. Whats the difference between the T8 and T9? Is the T8 JUST a pistol? When I search for the T9, all I get is pictures of one with all sorts of attatchments. I'm only getting pistols for the T8.

BTW, does the T9 shoot farther?

  • he forgot the flaltine in his test ;-)

  • It's not faster traveling out of the barrel; it's the same velocity but a regular paintball would speed DOWN faster than a First Strike round.

These numbers may not be accurate, but it's a good way to think of it:

Paintball shot at 300 fps --> Hits you at 250 fps because it slowed down

First Strike Round shot at 300 fps --> Hits you at 285 fps because it travels faster, for a longer period of time.

  • I'm not understanding the safety concern. Maybe someone can explain it to me. 300 fps is 300 fps regardless of whether it is a paintball or a first strike round right? So how would it come out of the barrel faster? It is more aerodynamic meaning it will go farther with the same force as a regular paintball but that doesn't mean it is faster. That's what chronographs are for.

  • @xKIMMLEx thank you! and the tail fins arent dangerous BECAUSE THEY KEEP THE PAINTBALL FROM TURNING AROUND IN THE AIR. thats what their for, all they do is make it spin like a football for greater distance and accuracy.

  • @xKIMMLEx it could have more kinetic energy, but i doubt it because its gotta b lighter than a normal paintball

  • @xKIMMLEx well paintballs slow down and fs dont really do that .

  • @xKIMMLEx first strike rounds might be lighter thus making them go faster

  • @IMeTaLxMiLiTiAI But that is why you chrono. Just like I said before 300 fps is 300 fps. Just because it can go faster do to being more aerodynamic does not mean it has to.

  • @xKIMMLEx i think that they do is since they take longer to slow down than .68 paintballs do, fs rounds give the illusion that they are going faster, because its impossible for them to go faster once they get shot

  • @xKIMMLEx If you dial in your marker for normal paintballs, then switch to first strike, they go much faster.

  • now can you feed first stike paint balls throue a hopper or just a mag ?

  • First strikes only work through a mag, as they have a front end and a back end. The mag feeds them in only facing forwards. Hoppers work because no matter which way a paintball is facing, it's still a sphere, but with first strike, that's not the case.

  • @zachweeman65 you need the mag

  • Hitting someone from point blank ( <10 feet) with a first strike would be no different than a regular paintball since even a standard round ball isn't going to slow down over that distance either, so I wouldn't expect any safety concerns at all.

  • Sounds great but not for almost a dollar a paintball. Nobody is going to make that investment.

  • On the contrary, 3 people at the field I play at and one of my good friends make that investment before they play every weekend.

  • Only 3? That's unfortunate, considering they would more then triple that number if the price was reasonable, not to mention how many fields that have banned the first strike round.

  • Prove to me that fields have banned first strike rounds and then maybe I'll believe you. And yeah, for being at a local field 3 people using them is a lot, not to mention the thousands of others that must be purchasing the rounds because if it was such a dead end product they would have discontinued it by now but they haven't because people ARE buying them.

  • @CollinKirkbride Why would i say it without knowing? All the fields i play at in my region do not allow first strike rounds to be used. Maybe there are a few thousand people using first strike but me and the hundreds of paintballers i play with regularly all agree if they lowered the price we'd all invest in the round. Just my .02

  • Agreed but I'm just saying, right now they've just launched the product and granted with time the price will drop but you have to realize that it takes a lot more time, engineering, and equipment to make a First Strike round vs a normal paintball hence, they're more expensive, Haha

  • hey retard the paintballs are about 30 cents each. And if u are smart in any way you can even get a better deal that that.

  • @TrouserKitten hey idiot, the rounds are cheapest at 40 cents when you buy the bulk 100 ct for 40 us dollars. and hey was referring to the price of the 8 round tubes

  • @DWINTERS14 i know i certainly wouldnt. i bet on no one buying them for the first two years, and then the price will come down and they will be about the same price as turnament paintballs. regular people should be able to afford them by 2013.

  • how the hell can you aford the first strike rounds

  • how much money this the t9 and t8

  • Hey MIke what color fill do the first strike rounds have my field says i can shoot anything that splats white so thanks.

  • hey mike what do you think about the new t4 they have?? thats stock built for the first strike rounds

  • been thinking about investing in the tiberius products but the setup on the clips turns me off. for now, i'll just stick with my t68 meg fed.

  • @lilwizz200

name another paintball gun that can hit players at over 500 feet @ 300fps?

    That's not overpriced

  • none...but isnt it actually the first strike round thats shooting 500 feet? i mean cuz i can put a first strike round in a proto slg and get the same results cant i?

  • @paintballtechpb I agree. Tiberius arms are in my upinion the coolest and best guns on the market, however, the first strike rounds cost about 1 dollar pr. bullet anywhere else in the world exsept for in the US, and the whole of America.

thats 1 FRIGGIN DOLLAR PR. BULLET

that means, in 1 mag, there is 8 dollars, or more.

I'm just sayin, and in my upinion, thats kind of overpriced, but exsept for that, I think Tiberius arms are 100 % the best ! :)

  • love rockin the volicty on that one gun

  • have a noob question i was wondering if a longer barrel on a mini would improve accuracy?

  • accuracy has almost nothin to do with barrel length

  • it would, but not my much. if you have the spare cash lying around for a new longer barrel go ahead and buy a new longer barrel.

  • o and mike i can't test this out i have a flatline barrel=[ but i know they work i believe you

  • i soooooo want one but i dont have the money=[

  • that is sick :D

  • what is the hopper? the rounds come from the clop not the hopper... correct?

  • It is a clip like a real gun.

  • FS rounds use the clip, but the marker is able to switch back and forth to regular paintballs

  • its a velocity or velocity jr

  • how much comes in a ''tube''?

  • 8 per tube

  • Whats the bore size of the First Strike Round?

  • Regular .68 cal. Maybe it is a little bit smaller but it works on .68 cal barrels and markers

  • anyone know any good lube

  • hater marmalade its my new fav lube
