7A had came out in canandian red when it was first built 14A is going to be black 6A aswell i think.and 3A is being tested at the moment.

3A being tested? Last I heard it was in a thousand pieces scattered around Belgrave & Emerald. AFAIK the restoration hasn't even started yet.

Please Sir, can I have some more??? I can't remember exactly when I last rode on Puffing Billy - too long agao. :( I know I had 6A, which was a bit of a dull steamer at the time. Much prefer the idea of 7A and 14A together as I had on another trip, and riding the footplate of 14A!!! :-D

Great stuff, Taitset, would love to get my hands (and ears!) on some good mp3 recordings of these engines!

I reckon 7A looked better in green, thats how i remember it, and 6A in black

Green was never a prototypical livery for 7A, that is why it has been returned to canadian red.

From what I hear it is a very long term possibility, as large ammounts of the loco would have to be sontructed from scratch.

um allmost the wholl loco will have to br remade there is only 10 - 12 things left of it
