When I was little growing up in New Zealand, I heard this type of singing in our home a lot (people would come over for song practice), and I never appreciated it growing up. In fact, I hated "Fa'a Samoa". Now I'm beginning to love my Samoan heritage.

Samoans were early pioneers of the pacific so many years ago and are still

repected today by their neighbours to be leaders of the pacific.
