Its okay. The original Freddy make-up done by Keven Yagher was all different foam latex pieces...really good! These silicone masks are "okay", still not as good as real make-up prosthetics.

@foosrockguitarriffs Well there are several out there now. But if your looking for the most accurate, it would probably be Darkride82's mask. He has done a screen accurate part 1 and is ow working on a part 4. But if you like the look of the SPFX not CFX mask , then go to knife gloves.com and check out the Fried Maniac mask. Looks killer!!! But opinions vary from mask to mask. Hope this helps and good luck!!

@jimmyp73 Mild soapy water is perfect for cleaning these masks! And the powder I use is regular baby powder. But only on the inside of the mask . It helps big time when putting on and removing the mask!

@HardKore5250 Composite Effects.com is where to find this one! It fits big heads! But there are some artists out there that make a Fred silicone mask...since your head is big ...search out Darkride82. It looks like a bigger mask than most.

So... I wore this mask for like 45 to an hour on Halloween, taking like 5-10 min breaks in between. Didn't sweat as much as I thought I would but I did a little. Silicone is the way to go...SAVE UP!!!

@cyberassault latex is not good. silicone is what this mask is made out of. it is the best kind of mask meterial. latex is really cheap and sucky and silicone costs 400-2200 dollars and latex just goes on your face when its so frickin hot in it and it doesnt move with your expressions and you cant breath out of it. silicone is the BEST. look up spfx masks .com and cfx masks .com

I have 2 of these masks.... but i got in a tight and now one of them is on ebay for sale.. just go to ebay and type in cfx mask and you will see it. its alot cheaper than a new one.. and plus you wont have to wait 6 weeks to get it.

I bought a beanie from Pac Sun at the mall to wear under my mask because I'm a skinny guy too. With the beanie, the mask fits alot better.. I had to buy a new hat though... one a size larger than the one I had before... and it works great.

No , mine came out smooth. I noticed what your talking about in a little patch but I kinda rubbed 'em off. Its like little surface air bubbles. Its behind the left ear on mine but the rest of the face and nose is smooth.

I just rubbed on it with my finger no paint came off, but then again it wasnt very much. But now that i look closer , it's kinda all over. Its like the silicone stuck to the mold some how or something. Mine is not bad. How long have you had it? I ordered mine right after Christmas and got it on in the first couple of weeks in Jan.

WOW that is really gay... I had owned a mask from SPFX once and it had the same thing in a couple spots and then (all of a sudden) the paint actually began to PEEL. SPFX replaced it though. I believe it is something to do with the paint not adhering properly. They should replace it though. In my opinion just return it... I HIGHLY doubt that the same thing would happen again... they are probably just saying that.
