Alright what I'm about to tell is gonna give you nightmares John told me by the beginning 2010 UP's Heritage units warranties are going to expire and are gonna be changing them back to plain old ACE's so you might as well buy some of those heritage units for your layout so you can enjoy some memories of your favorite heritage units I know I willbe sads

Get this, I actually had planned this trip about a month in advance to the california coast not knowing about the UP special. I did not find out about the UP special untill the morning of. One of my sources texted my cell the morning of letting me know that the train departed SLO and I was like "DANG".

NO. This is part of the Coast sub. You will see the Coast Starlights (11 and 14), and maybe 1 freight a day. The kinds of freights you normally see are a rare local or a auto train.
